Nice room, problem with the heat

We were in Red Bank for dinner and a show at the Count Basie Theater. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean. The bathroom was ok, a little dated. The problem was the heat in the room would not adjust. No matter what the thermostat was set at, it always blew warm/hot air. We did not notice this until about midnight when we got back to the room. Too late to pack up, get dressed, and change rooms. The only way to regulate the heat was to turn it off, and then back on when the room was too cool. I told the desk clerk at checkout in the morning. He asked if I said something last night, and I advised him I did not as it was after midnight by the time I realized the problem. He said he would note it and that was it. He could have been a little more concerned or apologetic for the problem.

Good Place to Stay in Red Bank

This place is a good choice for someone staying in Red Bank. The restaurant and bar are excellent. I was amazed by how good the food was. The staff is also fantastic. The only thing is it’s an old mansion like place. That being said my room was small but neat as a pin. I only gave it a good rating and not excellent, because there was NO water pressure to speak of. I was happy until I showered. I have long hair so it was a problem. I took a much longer shower to compensate for the lack of said water pressure. Would I stay there again? No but I would eat there anytime!!
