The staff is excellent however the building is very old and very poorly maintained. We booked a suite for five people, and it only had two coffee cups and there wasn’t even a plug in the sink. Cleanliness was also questionable. But it is right on the beach. Views from all the rooms. You can walk everywhere. Still a good bang for your book.

We came to Sylvan for my daughter's 21st bday. The motel is pretty much what you would expect from one of the cheaper options in town. The guy running the place was awesome. Very friendly and accommodating. We learned they are being torn down for some fancy condos in tbe near future so you get what you get 😆 For a quick one night stop it was worth the price for a place to crash right on Lakeshore Drive.
