The room was nice but Hot, the hotel is suppliy two fans so they are trying. The swimming pool is very is about 10years overdue a refit. But the water was nice and warm.

Overall, good stay.

Nice location and great decorated hotel, the service at dinner was a bit slow but the food was great and breakfast was good too. In the room I stayed in there seemed to be a noisy ventilation from the kitchen, but luckily it stopped when the kitchen was closed and good timing for bed.

Couple of days away in Cornwall

We enjoyed our stay but it could’ve been better. Had a table booked in the restaurant for 20.00 and with the waiters help we chose a bottle of wine which never turned up. The food service was very slow. Waited until nearly 21.00 for it to arrive and still no wine so had to remind waiter that we had ordered it. We both ordered a Fillet Steak but this was not from a good source. For me fillet should cut like butter but it was very tough and chewy. My partners medium rare was swimming in blood by the time she cut in to a few times, so it hadn’t rested long enough. I personally think they were over run as there was also a wedding going on! We didn’t get told about the wedding on arrival which would’ve been nice as they had live music planned so by the time we got back to our room at around 22.00 the wedding was in full swing and our room was just above the function room. If we’d known that I’d have asked to be moved a bit further away. Breakfast was a much better experience than dinner and the room itself was nice and clean. The staff we spoke to were also very nice. Just needs some attention to detail in places to make the stay better.

I felt very welcome from the moment I stepped onto the lobby, the receptionist smart, well spoken and polite welcomed me to the hotel, guiding me to my room in minutes. Very nice room, comfortable and clean. Quiet and relaxing. Also used the pool and sauna, relaxed and friendly helpful staff.
