Beautiful Regensburg: Spacious and Bright Apartment in Great Location

Regensburg, an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe - with lots of medieval charm. In fact it is said to have both more pubs and more churches per square meter than any other town. Enjoy the 'Italian atmosphere', the small alleys and the many outdoor-cafes, or relax in a true Bavarian shady beer garden. The apartment, is in perfect location for all of this. It is a 15 minute walk to the Old Town Center of the City or a less than 5 minute bus ride, with the bus stop (bus number 1) right in front of the building. Or just rent bicycles and move around like the locals or enjoy a ride along the Danube. The apartment is on the third floor of a 1907 built 4-story building, it has two bedrooms (one big one with a double bed, one small one with two separate beds), a dining room with a balcony, large living room (with sofa bed), a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with toilet, and an extra toilet. The apartment has been freshly renovated with great care - you will find the over 100 years old restored wooden floor with the typical high ceilings for that time- together with all modern amenities like free Internet and TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine. You will also find an ironing board, iron, hair dryer which match local voltage, so you can travel worry free. If you travel with children, there are also some toys awaiting them in the old wooden 'treasure chest' in the living room. Or they may like a visit to the indoor and outdoor swimming pool landscape with artificial waves, huge slide, etc. nearby or a stroll through the great city park with playgrounds, duck pond, etc. (about 5 minute walk away). A crib is available at no charge upon request. You are also welcome to use the garden (in the summer time you may even be able to find some red currants fresh from the bush).

Munich airport is a 1 hour drive (there is a shuttle service, which brings you from door to door), Memmingen airport (Ryanair) is a 2 hour drive. Frankfurt Airport can be reached by direct train connection (3hrs 30 minutes). From the Regensburg train station, the apartment can easily be reached by bus (12 Minute direct bus ride right to the building) or by taxi (less than 10 minutes, costs are about 10 Euro). Parking is also available upon request. There are two bakery shops (one with great pastry, one with fresh rolls) each one block away and there is a small grocery store within 5 minute walking distance. Several nice restaurants are within 5-10 minute walking distance.

Safe clean secure spacious -perfect

3 adults. All had separate rooms. Great location to old town and autobahn. Lots of room. Dining living 2 bathrooms full kitchen. Felt like home entire stay. Host was always gracious and available. If staying in Regensburg then by all means stay here !!!!! Perfect vacation rental !!!!

Better than expected!

The photos don't do this property justice. It was large, well decorated, had everything we needed, and was extremely comfortable. It's about a 20-minute walk from the main part of the old town, or the bus stops right in front of the property and is super efficient. We liked that staying here made us feel like we were locals, living in Regensburg, We cooked meals, relaxed, ran in the local park, and enjoyed kaffee und kuchen at a local bake shop. It was perfect!

Awesome place in Regensburg

The location nearby a bus station makes it easy to get to the main town in 3 stations (<5 min) or get to other amenities in the opposite direction such as Westbad (public pool) and many parks. We particularly enjoyed picnicking at Stadtpark nearby.

Elisabeth’s apartment is even larger and nicer than the photos. It is spotless and well equipped. It is conveniently right on the bus line to anywhere in Regensburg. We 5 adults had plenty of room and enjoyed the month in her lovely home. We hope to return again soon!

The flat is quite large and comfortable. There is easy access to the town if Regensburg by bus. The bus stops are right next to the flat. Communication with the host was simple and she was proactive reaching out to us prior to our arrival. No complaints.

Spacious Apartment in Regensburg!

We stayed in Elizabeth's apartment for 10 nights. We were 3 adults and there was plenty of room. The apartment was clean and spacious. The hot water was great and there was more than enough for each of us to shower each day. The kitchen is nice and would be perfect to cook meals in. We either ate out or just made sandwiches. The apartment is a 20-25 min walk into town. There is a bus stop right in front of the building. We used taxis each day to get into town or to the train station. We used the taxi.eu app and it worked great. There was always a taxi within 3 min away. Elisabeth was easy to communicate with. We would recommend Elisabeth's apartment for your stay in Regensburg.

Lovely spacious Regensburg apartment in convenient location

Our family had an excellent 3 night stay at this lovely spacious apartment in Regensburg. Well equipped, tastefully furnished and a bus stop right outside. Only slight downside were the creaky floors and doors but would highly recommend.

My father and I stayed at the apartment in April 2016. Communication with Elisabeth was quick and helpful. The apartment was large, clean, had all the appliances we needed. We preferred to mostly walk about town, but it was certainly helpful to have the bus stop (Line 1) right outside the apartment as well. We could not have been happier and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely apartment in convenient location

The apartment is huge, well equipped, and very attractive. We especially liked the high ceilings, and the natural light. Beds were very comfortable, as was the living furniture. The pictures represent the apartment and the entire place was spotless. We stayed in winter and were plenty warm enough. The location is a quiet residential area with a convenient local mini-supermarket and very nice Italian restaurant around the corner. The walk to the old town area of Regensburg takes about 10-15 minutes and is safe and well-lit. We never bothered to get the bus as the walk was easy. Be aware that if, like us, you have a lot of luggage, that the apartment is on the 3rd floor and its walk up. The good aspect of that is that you get to work off the afternoon coffee and cakes that you will almost certainly want to enjoy! I would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a comfortable base from which to visit Regensburg and the surrounding area. We had a car and also appreciated the on-site parking and the proximity to the autobahn. The owner and manager were very helpful when we had some confusion about check-in/out times and were most flexible.

Great apartment in Regensburg!

Fantastic flat. So much space and light, stylishly decorated and very well equipped, one of the best we've rented. Manager Christina was lovely - she gave is a great welcome and was very knowledgable about Regensburg, a fascinating city which could easily fill a week of exploration, not to mention trips on the Danube to Valhalla, Kelheim and the gorge at Weltenburg. The flat is only about 20 minutes' walk out of town (via the Stadtpark), or frequent buses (no. 10) to the Hauptbahnhof. Recommend a 'Bayern ticket' for travelling around by bus/train - amazing value. Although on a main road, traffic was quiet at night, and the back bedroom totally silent. Thanks you again, Elizabeth and Christina, we definitely hope to be back Mark and Paul, Bristol UK

We had a great stay. The apartment is much larger than the uploaded pictures. We had smooth communication with the landlord as well. I can definitely recommend this apartment, especially for groups of 4. Please be aware that you will need to be able to go up stairs easily, which should be clear with this beautiful historic building.

Super schöne Altbauwohnung. Wir waren vier Mädls. Ideal ein Badezimmer mit Toilette und ein WC extra. Wenn ihr mir dem Zug anreist nehmt den Bus linie 1 Richtung Prüfening und Haltestelle Liebiegstr. aussteigen, hält direkt vor der Wohnung. Waren sehr zufrieden.
