Resort had no running water. Once water came back there was no hot water. The resort only offered to write off the resort fees as per they couldn't do any thing else because we book through third-party Expedia. This by far has been the most inconvenient stay ever and I do a lot of traveling!!

Self check in kiosks were fast and easy to use. No standing in the long check in line. The room was large, spotless, elegant and comfortable. Restaurant choices without reservations were limited due to a large convention. But we had a nice meal at the bar. The Grand Theater was huge, had comfortable seats, and the show, Rain, was excellent. Our only complaint was the smoky casino. Yuck.

Amenities were top notch, however the customer service was absolutely terrible all except the Fat Tuesdays and the VT experience employees, they were awesome. Tried bringing up a safety concern about an elevator to a front desk attendant only for them to roll their eyes at me and slam their office door behind them.

My husband has a very bad back pain issue and we checked in an hour (1 1/2 hrs? early) due to his pain issue. We were charged an additional $30 for early check in. I used to stay at the GSR 3-4 nights a week for business (for 2 years) and often checked in early. I was never charged a early check in fee. It seems like GSR is getting more expensive (lots$$) with nothing new offered. Also the "recommended tips" at the sandwich shop and other places is in poor taste.
