OK for Rib Cookoff

For our one night it was OK. Pillow was lumpy and the other one was too hard. No washcloth in the bathroom but I made do with a wet hand towel. Toilet flush was ok if you held the handle and checked. Bottom sheet came undone just watching TV. Pro - was a large spacious room. Night stands on both sides of the bed. Yay!! Clean. Will still probably stay again next year for the Rib Cookoff as you can’t beat the location.

It was a nice comfortable stay

We had an enjoyable stay. Stayed for 2 nights, I was there for work, the wife was there to play. the room was comfortable. we were right next to the elevator and we could hear it going all night long, but other than that there were no complaints. Long gone are the days of the $6.00 breakfast. Food was Pricey, even from the little cafe. If you need to go anywhere, be prepared to drive or walk. My wife called for a taxi to take her to get her nails done. The taxi took over an hour and never got there before I picked her up and took between jobs.And the shuttle only goes to the airport.

Overall a nice place for the price. Parking was a bit of a walk. Right next to train tracks so sometimes you could hear trains but not too bad. My particular view from the room was of a junk yard, but other rooms could have had a nice view.

They don’t offer a coffeemaker in the room, if you want one it will cost you $10.00 a day and the towels provided at the pool are small and like something you would find at Motel 6.

Rosie's Cafe in Nugget Hotel

These are normally provided - No coffee maker, no microwave, only 2 plastic cups? Rosie's Cafe needs to work on their process & make it more consistent. Ordered food on Monday afternoon at the front counter (no problem). On Tuesday went there for lunch, the lady was having a personal conversation with her friends at the counter. Asked about ordering, she said to wait in line, get a menu & talk to the man at the end of counter. OK, approached him about placing an order. He then said to go to the back of the restaurant & order from another counter. OK, 3rd person now to place order. That waitress was serving food to customers at tables. Finally she walked over, took the order, but.... we had to stand in line & pay for the meal back at person #2, front of restaurant - pick-up food from her at back of restaurant. Well, food was cold sitting there waiting for us. It took 45 minutes to order & get our cold meals. (Also to be charged $2 for a to go container is greedy).

The property allows the parking for all during a very loud concert. I had someone follow me and my daughter because we had to park farther from our room. I booked here hoping for safety and found myself with security on my floor and inability to sleep because of amphitheater

The Pool and the Jacuzzi are great. The room was smelled of cigarettes,there was a big glob of hair stuck in the drain. The staff was not friendly and made you feel they were doing you a big favor by listening to you. The wait staff at Rosie's were a little kooky.

Some of staff were unhelpful when i had questions about my room care. The place is starting to show age in some of the rooms and decor. Shower faucet very loose and wallpaper peeling. Carpets sticky in room.

They do not provide a coffee machine in the room, they said they could provide one for ten dollars ($10), that’s ridiculous, I’ve been to lower budget hotels that provide a coffee machine, I believe this place did in the past.
