Maratho Villa is a wonderful countryside villa, located in the picturesque village of Xiro Horio just 2,5 km from Rethymno town, close to the beach and restaurants. Maratho Villa is a luxurious, ground floor villa of high quality standards, that consists of two independent buildings. Maratho Villa extends in 160 sq. m. proving comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests in its two bedrooms and the lovely loft, situated in the garden! The Villa combines a mixture of traditional and modern residence style with rustic touches and provides total privacy and tranquility. Tastefully decorated, this villa can satisfy even the most demanding guests, providing all modern conveniences and amenities. The villa overlooks the surrounding area and small hills, offering a magnificent view to the trees and cretan clear blue sky.

Main Building
The open plan living room, tastefully and discreetly decorated features a fireplace and cozy sofas that open up and can accommodate one more guest! In this area you can relax and have fun watching your favourite movie on the DVD player or playing your favourite Playstation game on the 44’ flat-screen TV. Also this area provides direct access to the pool and the huge outside area that covers 1 acre and is just perfect for the younger guests to enjoy their time there. The fully equipped kitchen provides all the amenities ideal to prepare your homemade meals! Also a dining area where you can enjoy your homemade meals is next to the living room! Furthermore, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, that can be joined an form a King size bed if you wish! This bedroom also offers direct access to the outside areas and pool. Additionally a family bathroom with a bathtub can be found in this area!

Loft
Additionally in the garden you can find a loft (air conditioning included), built with the same philosophy and taste as the main building, that can accommodate 4 more guests in its romantic and pastel decorated bedroom featuring a double bed. Also the sofa in the living room can be transformed into a double bed! A flat screen TV can also be found there.The loft also provides a kitchenette next to the living room area. Another bathroom with shower can also be found!

Exterior
Externally, the villa is built with stone providing a classic, yet modern look. At the stone paved terrace, a wonderful private swimming pool (35 m2 and 1.10-1.80 deep) with hydro massage capacity, awaits you to offer a unique summer experience and total relaxation! The pool area is equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, located in a huge space, full of trees, giving ample opportunity to enjoy the sun where it shines all summer long!

Additionally, next to the pool there is a wooden sauna room, where you can relax naturally, before entering the pool, as well as a comfortable siting area, below a shaded pergola!

Furthermore, on the other side of the pool, there’s even a private, two-seater, heated spa whirlpool tub for those who prefer to stay cool and under the shade at the same time! Spoil yourselves by using the 16 hydromassage jets, the 16 aeromassage led jets or enjoy a chromotherapy session while listening to the radio or your favourite music from your mp3 or mobile phone!

To make things even better, just besides the whirlpool there’s a lovely relaxing area, featuring a double bed! On top of that, a private mini golf court to practice your skills and have fun, while your kids are having fun at the playground area which can be found a few steps away! Swings, a slide, a ping pong table, children’ s toys, a garden swing, a hammock and even a pond with turtles will keep our young guests busy and extremely happy!

Finally, fully equipped BBQ facilities are available outdoors, along with a traditional oven and a dining area, in a great shaded area, giving you the chance to prepare your family meals and try for al fresco dining! Spend some quality time with your loved ones!
