Great Budget Stay in Revelstoke

Nice hotel to stay at on a budget, the beds were comfy but very squeaky so I kept waking up when moving. Pillows are very comfortable, decent size room, breakfast was basic but tasty.

Loved this older hotel. BUT if you can’t pack luggage up the stairs I would suggest to request a room on main level. No elevator. Walls are thin. Could hear next doors child yelling and screaming and them talking. Breakfast was basic. Just toast, cereal, boiled eggs, yogurt. Bed was comfy. Updated bathroom. Reception very good. Right close to lots of eating options downtown. Would stay here again!!

Better Breakfast Please

It's a bed for sleeping. Not fancy. Adequate. Note that as of mid-August the breakfast was inadequate. Hot hardboiled eggs, bread, a toaster that really doesn't toast, jam, dry cereal. Improving breakfast would raise my rating to a four. Location is great. We had a reno'd room that was okay.

Says there is a bar when booked. Not one there its around corner which is not part of the grizz it is its own business. Only booked there cause of that so we didnt have to go out. Servers at said bar didnt even come to us after 12mi so we left. And they did say hi when we walked in with there no one there. Also bar dont open till 730 but yet buses show up and are fed at the grizz

It was okay, staff was super accommodating and helpful. We were really tired from a long drive so we just wanted to get some rest. Premises are good for the price, beds are really firm wish they were softer specially after a long drive, we just wanted to sleep and it fit both the budget and the basic requirements. Included breakfast could definitely use some improvement we had boiled eggs and they were either overcooked or had a very peculiar taste which most people at the restaurant didn’t eat. Overall good place, not perfect but good for the price.

Good

Renovated room on the main floor. You can hear every creak from above. Room is large bed is very soft. They leave a price list of what things cost in case you want to purchase, but also if you mess up the towels and bedding you might be charged for them. Breakfast was ceral, toast, and hard boiled eggs, coffee and juice. It was fine.

This is a very strange property. There is no elevator and it feels like an old hospital. Stange dusty chandeliers in the lobby. There was an attempt to update the rooms but the overall feeling is very off. The management does not respond to issues with their property. I would avoid this location due to the awkwardness of the whole place.

We enjoyed our stay at the Grizz Hotel. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the room was clean and modernized. We were very happy that there was a Continental Breakfast and it was well stocked. My only suggestion is to put a stand in the room for a suitcase, we had to use the table to lay our suitcase on. We would definitely stay at the Grizz Hotel again.
