We came to Iceland not knowing what to do and where to go. Faruk, the fantastic front desk associate, was the most helpful guide ever! He had all the insider tips and he shared them all. We highly recommend this hotel—just for the convenience factor as well! Great location for everything. We barely used the car we rented. Overall-this hotel was perfect for our trip! Thank you Faruk!

Great Accommodations and Location for an Easy Stay

Hotel Klopp was an amazing hotel close to downtown Reykjavík. The front desk staff were friendly and went over and beyond to make sure that our needs and wants were taken care of. The rooms were on the small side, but not a big deal and didn’t affect how we felt about stay there. The continental breakfast was great and included a normal Scandinavian breakfast. What else would we want while visiting Iceland? :-). If you are looking for a fancy hotel, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a room with awesome staff who are accommodating, a good continental breakfast and the ability to walk in downtown Reykjavik. There is no doubt we would stay there again.

The staff were so lovely and friendly - even gave us some tips on some hotspots in the city! The free breakfast in morning was a good grab n go so very nice to have. The room was small yet comfortable, and had a closet space and a suitcase space.

Great location

We stayed here two nights before a group tour and then one night after. It’s the perfect location in the center of everything. It is conveniently located to multiple bus stops for tour pickups and the Fly bus. There is a good breakfast in the morning. Also, I liked that you can go to their other locations. We used our free drink coupon at the Sky Bar on the 8th floor at their waterfront location. Rooms are small, but to be expected. It was perfect for just a couple nights to be close to everything. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Hotel is in a fab location, very central. I got the bus from airport to main station and about 15 minute walk. Very friendly staff, and the breakfast being included in price was a good start up for a day of exploring Iceland.

Good hotel in central position

Hotel was very central to restaurants and bars and harbour. Reception staff were very friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Good value for money. No bar or restaurant- but not really needed

Unfortunately we were moved from one Center Hotel to Plaza the day of. Our review is for Center Hotel Plaza. The staff was rude, the rooms were dated, and the putrid smell of the water from the pipes was worse than a truck stop bathroom. The continental breakfast was pleasant and the lobby was renovated and nice.

The clerks at the desk were extremely helpful with directions to meeting places and bus stops. Farouk was especially helpful in verifying where tours met or were cancelled. The rooms was clean ad the beds comfortable. Showering required a lot of care to keep the floor dry. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Lila and I highly recommend Center Hotels Klopp.
