This is about a 2.5 star hotel - if you are not fancy it will get the job done. The bed is average, the pillows are basically napikins they are so thin, and the towels are super thin and one of ours was shredding because it was so old. The walls are paper thin too if you are a light sleeper. It does have a nice small kitchen if you want to cook and the bathroom is adequete - although the water pressure is not great. The location is easy walking to rainbow street/the church and parking was convenient. It's a good place if you don't want to spend a lot of time in the room.

The hotel was in a quiet location and walking distance to bustops for tours and airport. Number 13 bus stop is only half a block away. It had a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge, stove top and microwave. Communication was good for access to hotel. Plenty of parking at front of hotel. 5 min walk to restaurants and small supermarket. There was a sulphar smell from the hot water but that is supposedly all of Iceland. Room a little small. Cleaners need to check that dishes have been cleaned properly when put back in cupboard. Mugs had tea stains in them. Would definitely stay again.

Great Place on a Budget

Very good choice for a budget in Reykjavik. Each room had a good kitchen, easy to get to everything in the city from there. It had plenty of parking for the rental car. Great place on a budget.

I appreciate that this property is within walking distance to major attractions and has lots of dining options. I booked a Studio with kitchenette and an ensuite; the room was clean and has ample space for two people. Do note that the water does have a sulfuric smell like coming straight out of a geothermal spring. Otherwise, everything was great

This came as expected. The location was excellent. Close to restaurants, coffee shops etc. The kitchen in unit was very functional. It had pots pans , dishes, cutlery, a kettle, toaster and coffee pot. There was a small fridge as well. We used kitchen, for breakfast and to store drinks and snacks. Check-in was very easy. The apartment was very clean. I appreciated that, although not a hotel, the property has a spot set aside to store luggage for those who arrive before check-in or leave after check-out. It helped us tremendously. The front-desk man was courteous and helpful.
