First of all, we were surprised to see that the house was for sale when we arrived.The house is clean and the host was gracious enough to let us check in early which we appreciated.The pier was much smaller than pictured , but still functional where you could fish or sit on. We did appreciate the 2 canoes in the garage to use, the water is calm and it was really enjoyable. The restaurant next store is convenient and very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, you do hear the music at night until 1am. The fire pit is a nice touch but be prepared to bring or buy a lighter and starter wood. This was not provided. There is wood to use but they are very big logs that don’t burn right away. We did have issues with the garage door closing one evening and discovered that the fuse had blown, which we had to reset. The owner was aware that this occurs but this wasn’t mentioned ahead of time. We did end our trip a little early, due to a gas smell coming from the kitchen stove, we did check to see if the stove was left on, but it wasn’t. We opened up the house which helped. We did report this but the host did not return our message for 2 days regarding this matter.

3 day weekend with family

Great property overall. Perfectly met our needs . Very clean. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to utilize the outdoor amenities but the patios and firepit looked great. Would definitely recommend this property!

Relaxing vacation

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week on the water! House setup worked great for our family; long driveway worked perfect to park the truck & boat trailer & several other vehicles. Would be beneficial to have cleats on the dock. Relaxing, fun vacation!

Great home for a getaway

Overall, the property was a great location and home. We took advantage of the canoes, fire pit, grill, and did a lot of fishing off the pier. We did rent a boat for a couple of days from Schoeders and were able to dock it at the pier so if you’re looking to rent a boat, we can’t recommend Schoeders enough, it was an easy, affordable rental. One thing we encountered our first night were some sheets that did have stains on them. I did contact Lynsi that evening (I messaged her later in the evening so I was expecting a response that night!) I was able to locate a new set of sheets so I remade my bed but my daughter and son-in-laws sheets also had stains so they just put a towel down as we couldn’t locate another fresh set. Lynsi did respond right away the following morning and said her cleaner would come over and get us fresh sheets and she thought the stains are most likely from the detergent, although one of the stains looked like a shoe print. I appreciated Lynsi’s prompt response and it was no issue after getting fresh sheets! The only thing I would recommend is maybe some dressers in the rooms. There were loads of closet space but dressers would be very useful. Beyond the sheets issue the remainder of the property was very clean and very well maintained. We made lots of memories playing games and fishing and would stay here again!

Great Vacation!

Lovely Summer Stay

Our family rented this home for a week while visiting other family in the area. It was very spacious and clean, nicely decorated. We enjoyed the location, the fenced in backyard (to play), and the lakeside front yard was beautiful. We would love to stay again some day! Thank you!

Perfect winter getaway!

We just returned from a 3 night stay. It was everything we hoped it would be. The home is exactly how it's pictured. We went snowmobiling and ice fishing. We walked right from the house to the lake and caught 2 large Northerns and a bunch of Blue Gill. The home is well stocked with everything you need. The location was excellent, close to town yet not "in" town. The hosts were very responsive and helped us upon arrival when we entered the wrong code. They called us back within minutes and helped us get in. The home was very clean. We would love to visit again and highly recommend!
