For nature lovers and walking enthusiasts, there is much on offer within easy reach: head into the Yorkshire Dales (8.5 miles), where you could visit Calver Hill (20 miles) and Aysgarth Falls (22.5 miles), or choose the North York Moors for an outdoor adventure (19 miles).
