We just turned around and left. The host describes this place as LUXURY 😂😂😂😂 in reality it’s the opposite!!!! Do not believe the description on Expedia. We contacted Expedia who in all fairness reached out to the host to see if we could get a refund but to no avail. Do yourself a favor and give this one a miss. Dirty! Old furniture!! Cluttered NOTHING like the pictures on Expedia. We paid for the suite upstairs. You could not have paid me to sleep in that bed. If you go through the reviews there are only about 4 that give this place a POOR rating, I do not believe all the positive ratings unless all those people live in a cave!! This place is a disgrace and Expedia should delete it from their selection.. You have been warned!!!!!!!!

It was a lovley old building and the floors & ceiling reflected the age of the place. The room was huge it had an open fire but we didnt use it had a stand alone bath but we never used. The shower was an electric standard model a bit of a dissappointment but it done the job. Overall a nice place.

Very easy check in, the owner greeted me and even arranged for me to have a breakfast earlier than usual times due to having to leave earlier. Very pleasant stay and will come back

Standard at best

We were disappointed by this B&B. Advertised as 'luxury' I booked this for me and my partner as a stopover travelling home from an extended time away due to an unexpected family bereavement. I'd be interested to know how the proprietors consider their B&B to fit the 'luxury' description. The room was tired and dominated by oversized furniture. Bed OK. Bathroom functional. TV in the room was shoehorned into a corner and consequently unwatchable. Not worth what we paid for the room. Breakfast was mediocre. Welcome drink a nice touch.

The property was very clean and room spacious. The bed was terrible, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. Hard and lumpy. It was so bad I had to sleep on the duvet with my sweater on as I was cold. Mattress needs to be replaced Parking was supposed to be free, we thought there was parking on the property but we had to find a parking spot in town and then ask for a free disc, which need to be changed every 12 hrs Breakfast was excellent

Central location near market square. Really helpful over parking options. Warm welcome (including a welcome drink). Quirky old house with sloping floors. Excellent breakfast. Downside was that there wasn’t a shower, just a bath tub with a hand held shower.

Quirky old building with character and comfort. Nigel greeted us on arrival and was very friendly. The room had everything we could have wanted and the breakfast was superb with what was obviously farm fresh produce.

Staff were immensely helpful and friendly, the cooked to order breakfast was excellent and the check in process easy. It’s a traditional B&B which is good value for money, our room (Wensly) was spacious and traditional, if you want ultra modern then this is not the place for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay would go back again and highly recommend to others especially the ideal location for shopping, National heritage, museums and walks.

Very nice

Really lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff and delicious big breakfast! Room had a little en-suite dressing room and huge slipper bath - only downside was that there wasn’t a shower but the bath was a nice change for the one night we stayed!
