First of all, there was no lift, we had so much luggage and nothing was said when we booked. Second, nobody helped us for taking our suitcases, zero customer service and finally to say there was rat in our room, can you imagine you just stepped down to a rat when you wake up, well this is a place for an adventurous stay!!

The main property is old but has character. The rooms are clean but the floors are creaking probably because of the age of the building. There is no elevator, its only a 2 floor building, all the rooms are on the 2nd floor, that means you have to carry your luggages up the stairs. There are a lot of stores around including a grocery store just across the street, so its very convinient. And you have Steveston fisherman's wharf just a 3 mins. walk.

The attached neighbouring bar has an event on each Friday and Saturday evening and there is no chance of any sleep until it finishes about 2am. The noise was terrible and it sounded like we were at the bar. Lovely and clean little property. Staff were helpful enough. Nice area.

Stayed here twice now. The recently renovated rooms are fantastic, clean and modern. Free parking behind the hotel is a big plus in Richmond, especially in Steveston. Staff are friendly and awesome. Lots of dining options all within walking distance plus a Save on Foods right across the street. Walk less than 5 minutes to the waterfront. Overall a great place to stay.

Great Location, Friendly & Helpful Staff

We really liked the location of this hotel as it was so close to the fisherman's wharf area. The staff were very, very friendly & helpful. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy on both of the nights that we were there, sometimes even into the early morning hours. Lots of commotion and talking outside, as well as doors slamming just about until 2:00 a.m. everyday. The room itself was not too much to speak of, as it was outdated not very comfortable. The chair was broken in the room, the bed was small and not very supportive or comfortable while sleeping. The lighting in the room was also quite poor. Unfortunately the restaurant inside the same building would not give any discount to patrons of the hotel. Quite disappointing. But the restaurant food was pretty good.
