We just adore this charming cottage, full of character and set in one of the prettiest villages in The New Forest making this the ideal cottage for relaxing and enjoying time with friends.. Ground Floor:

Kitchen: Aga, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Coffee Machine, Washing Machine

Separate Toilet.

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Smart TV

Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Smart TV

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder at cost. Welcome pack. Front garden with firepit, sitting-out area and garden furniture. BBQ. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children.. Greenbank Cottage is a charming period home full of character, nestled in the heart of The New Forest National Park and is just perfect for couples, to relax, recharge and take time to explore this wonderful destination. With two beautifully furnished double bedrooms, cosy sitting room and separate dining room both with log stoves are the perfect spaces to relax after a day exploring. A well equipped kitchen with Aga and the addition of an outdoor kitchen, make Greenbank Cottage the perfect year-round country retreat.

It is ideally located right in the heart of The New Forest, just a short stroll from the centre of Burley, a charming village with tea rooms, pubs, cycle hire, quaint gift shops and a fabulous ice cream parlour. Roaming ponies and cattle, Donkeys and (during pannage) pigs can be found casually wandering through Burley. The unspoilt forest and heathland with an abundance of wildlife makes the New Forest a must visit destination. For miles of beautiful walks, head into the forest right from the cottage or alternatively the surrounding area can be explored by car or on bicycle via the many cycle paths, where you can discover some of the charming villages, towns, and attractions the New Forest has to offer.

The stunning coastline with sandy beaches at Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Mudeford Spit are all just a short drive away and offers plenty of water based activities such as windsurfing, boating and swimming and paddleboarding. Whatever your reason for choosing Greenbank Cottage we are certain you will be longing to return. Beach 9 miles. Pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Its a well equipped cottage with lovely surroundings. The welcome pack came in handy and biscuits were so nice! The stairs are a bit steep like mentioned, might be a bit hard for elderly people to climb but all in all positive experience!

A really pretty cottage with a lot of nice touches mentioned by other reviewers . Property has high quality finish and very nicely presented . Host Rachel also deserves a mention always quick to respond to any questions. This should be high on list of vacation properties to consider

Dear Rachel and Mike, we can not do anything more than to say: Thank you for your such a lovely home far from home! And you are so wonderfull hosts - so we are all but hoping to come back in the future and enjoy another perfect time in the New Forrest. To step into your house - after a long and not so happy tour - was exactly what was needed, with your welcome gifts (the muffins were really good!), the soft music and the burning candles…. It helped so much to calm down, to relax, wow. We hope a lot of future guest may also enjoy your kindnes, the stunning nature and the British Style of living, same way we did.
