Stately, Good Location, Very Loud

If you're looking for classic elegance, the pictures are spot on. The neighborhood is walkable to all the happening spots but off the beaten path, and half a block from a nice grocery store. There are also 2 parking spots, which is unusual. However, a few things were uncomfortable for us that I'll include as a heads up. The traffic sounds reverberated very loudly inside even with the windows closed; there was only one key to access the building and open the outdoor gate, so if one person leaves, anyone else is trapped inside; the bathtub has a French setup - so you cannot take a shower. Also, if you'll be relying on their wifi, you might verify it's included as they gave us a hot spot but initially wanted us to pay extra for it.

Very nice apartment but some minuses

The apartment had some good points and some not so good. It is very spacious, tasteful, clean and perfectly positioned close to the old town. The off road free secure parking was certainly a bonus as was the small but modern lift inside the building. The agency communication and check in/out assistance was first rate. A large supermarket is only 100m away. The main negative we had was the apartment was very warm inside. Yes we did stay during an unusually hot spell of weather, but compared to other apartments/buildings we stayed in during the same heatwave, this was by far the most uncomfortable. We appreciate the fact that the agency provided a portable air-con machine and 2 fans which without would have been much worse. Obviously outside of summer this won't be an issue. The road noise was particularly bad on one side with a constant stream of traffic at all hours and cars/bikes pulling up at the ATM directly beneath. Didn't bother me too much as I was in the rear bedroom, but worth noting for light sleepers. No free wifi was baffling, the only time in 2 years of travelling I've had this happen, its just the norm these days. If you can cope with these few negatives then it is otherwise a great apartment.

Good rental, great off street parking included. 5-10 minute walk to everything in Riva. On a busy street so somewhat noisy at night for kids.

Nettes Apartment allerdings mit einigen Mankos

Zunächst einmal die positiven Punkte: Die Lage vom Apartment ist gut. Es liegt recht zentral. An sich ist die Wohnung gemütlich, bietet viel Platz und sieht geplegt aus. Leider gab es aber insgesamt einige Nachteile: Dass es in der Wohnung recht laut sein soll, da sie an einer Hauptstraße liegt, hatten wir bereits gewusst. Da wir aus Frankfurt kommen und auch nicht zur heißesten Zeit gereist sind, dachten wir, dass es kein großes Problem sein wird. Leider muss man sagen, dass es aufgrund der ganzen Motorräder dann doch recht laut war und zudem ist direkt gegenüber eine riesen Baustelle, sodass von morgens bis abends Baulärm vorhanden war. Da wir viel unterwegs waren und unsere Tochter eh früh morgens wach war, hat es uns zwar nicht massiv gestört, aber es sorgt defintiv für weniger Komfort. Etwas unangenehm fanden wir den Geruch in der Wohnung, der beim Betreten vorhaben war. Vermutlich der älteren Einrichtung geschuldet. Wahrgenommen hat man diesen aber nur am Anfang, danach hat man sich daran gewöhnt :). Ja und der letzte negative Punkt, der dann leider auch dafür gesorgt hat, dass wir das Apartment nach zwei Tagen gewechselt haben, war, dass uns im Bad Kakerlaken begegnet sind. Es waren zwar nicht viele und auch kleine, mit einem Kleinkind war uns das dann aber doch zu heikel. Positiv an der Agentur war, dass sie für uns ein Ersatzapartment ohne Aufpreis organisiert hat. Ich würde das Apartment dennoch nicht als super schlecht abstempeln, denn es ist, wie gesagt, ansonsten recht gepflegt und gemütlich.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist super, alles ist schnell zu erreichen!erreichbar

Leider befindet sich direkt gegenüber der Wohnung eine sehr laute Baustelle, der Erholungsfaktor blieb auf der Strecke, die Betreuung Vorort ist sehr kompetent, wir haben am gleichen Tag unserer Bedenken eine neue Ferienwohnung zugewiesen bekommen, der Urlaub war gerettet! Danke dafür!
