Spend afternoons on the screened-in back porch, surrounded by forest, watching birds move through the canopy. Evenings naturally gather around the dining table or flow between the spacious living areas. Wherever you land, you'll feel the quiet settle in—this is a place designed for presence, not distraction.
THE HOUSE
Originally designed by an engineer and thoughtfully updated by architects, this home honors the relationship between structure and landscape. Oversized windows frame the views as living art, flooding rooms with natural light that shifts with the day. High ceilings and open flow create breathing room - space to spread out when you need solitude, common areas that draw people together when connection calls.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances, basic spices and condiments, and a coffee/tea bar stocked with both Keurig and French press. The adjacent dining area seats your full group comfortably. The den offers a TV with streaming services for movie nights. The living room faces huge windows - the mountain view is the only entertainment you need here. Board games live on the shelf for analog evenings.

The largest suite offers a private sanctuary with its own bathroom space - perfect for the person who needs a little extra room to decompress.

GOOD TO KNOW
This property is our family homestead. The host and property director live in a private apartment above the detached garage (where the gym is located). You'll have complete privacy in the main house and all outdoor spaces. Our resident black cat, Kai, roams the property and may greet you with curiosity - he's friendly and knows to give guests their space.
The home sits on a gentle slope to the main entrance. A paved driveway provides ample parking for 3 cars.
WHO THIS IS FOR: Small groups (up to 10), multi-generational families, friend reunions, wellness retreats, creative teams seeking inspiration, anyone who wants to gather intentionally in a setting that supports rest and connection.
WHO this is NOT for: Large events, parties, or gatherings exceeding 10 guests. This is a place for intimate connection, not crowds.
**SPECIAL EVENTS**
The Kai Collective welcomes intimate celebrations that align with the spirit of this space—elopements under the mountain view, milestone gatherings with your closest people, small wellness retreats, family reunions, micro-weddings where every guest matters.
The house and grounds can hold your celebration beautifully. We ask that you hold them with care.
What We Can Host:
- Up to 40 daytime guests (overnight capacity remains 10)
- Events concluding by 10:00 PM out of respect for neighbors and the mountain quiet
- Early check-in at 12:00 PM (instead of 4:00 PM) so you have time to settle in and prepare
Event Fees:
These cover the additional care, cleaning, and liability that come with larger gatherings:
- Up to 20 guests: +$200
- 21-30 guests: +$350
- 31-40 guests: +$500
