The hotel looks tired and old outside of the front lobby. Nothing terrible, but nothing really nice. An ok place to sleep the night before a morning flight. Shuttle was on time and convenient.

Choose this hotel because it was close to the airport annd had a free shuttle and we just needed a place close for a late arriving flight. My husband had called ahead to make sure the shuttle was available at the time our flight was arriving and we were told it is a 24hr shuttle service. I was traveling with my sister and my 11 year old daughter. When we arrived, no one was answering the phone at the hotel so we could request a shuttle from the airport. After about 20 mins of trying to call and talking to reps at the call center who were also not able to get ahold of the hotel staff,?we were about to order an uber instead as it was late and I had my daughter with me. Finally my husband who was back home was able to get them on the phone to request a pick up by the shuttle. When the shuttle driver arrived he complained about having to pick us up and told us it was his last day because he didn’t want to work anymore because he was 76. We tried to be polite and congratulate him on his retirement but he was very rude and seemed irritated by everything ( that we didn’t have luggage, when I misunderstanding a question he asked, etc) It made for a very uncomfortable ride. The person the person at the front desk was talking to someone in his earbud the whole time he checked us in so I couldn’t tell if he was talking to me or the person on the phone. The room was as expected and the people in the the morning were friendly unfortunately I would not recommend this place.

Room was in good condition. Mattresses were not the greatest but I've been to comparable chai hotels where they were less comfortable. Our room was at the end of a hallway; the reason I'm saying this is because I ran water in the shower for at least 10 minutes hoping to get some warm or hot water. I got neither. Tub was slippery while taking my cold shower! Lastly, I called the fron desk around 9pm to ask a question about local eateries that may deliver. I got no answer so a walked down to the front desk. The clerk was in the back room, came out when he saw me. I asked my question and he said I'd have better luck ordering thru Uber Eats or Deal Dash. Ultimately, I ordered using Uber Eats. Left at 6:30am so didn't try the breakfast; I don't think it was out yet. I was going to take some coffee to go but there was hardly any in the carafe and when I took a sip, it was cold.

Positives: economical price, very convenient to airport, close to University of Rochester, plentiful breakfast included, cleaning staff were friendly. Negatives: used towels were hanging on the back of the bathroom door when we arrived (easy to miss when the door is open), front desk attendant did not have authority to make decisions about reservation changes and told us we'd have to wait until manager came back a couple days after we left.

The room was ok. You are basically at the airport. Staff was fine and there is a free shuttle. Poor water pressure from the shower. The TV continually had a window pop up that blocked part of the screen. The breakfast was ok at best for this type of deal. Coffee was lukewarm and if you like the blue or yellow sweetener you should bring your own.
