The place was okay, but I wouldn’t stay again. The furniture is really dated the chairs and sofa bed felt worn out, and the lighting is old. There was also a noticeable odor coming from the carpet. Being on the ground floor, we could hear a lot of footsteps from upstairs, which made it hard to relax. On the plus side, the fridge and microwave were clean, the bathrooms were kept up well, and the kitchen had utensils and pots, which was convenient. Overall, it worked for the basics, but for the cost, I expected something more comfortable and updated.

I've never written a review before but this place warrants the praise. We very much enjoyed our family trip at this location, friendly staff, right on the beach, great amenities and extremely clean. It's an older establishment but its completely maintained and well kept. I would not hesitate to stay here again, especially because it is reasonably priced.

We will return!

Very friendly staff on day of check in. Large rooms with well stocked kitchen equipment. We used the grill shack and it was clean and in good order. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were in good condition w a few pool toys that our grandson enjoyed. Unfortunately, somebody had a toileting accident in the pool, necessitating emptying and sanitizing! It wasnt RBRs fault, but we werent able to use it after participating in a local race and our grandson was able to swim! Whoever did it, did not notify the front desk! It was discovered by another guest.

Great location but definitely needs an update

The "resort", is in a great location! Right on the beach, food close by, pool and hot tub, a video/game/book library. Every employee was very friendly and very helpful. We were in in a junior king suite on the second floor (no elevator) that had plenty of room. Unfortunately the room was very musty smelling and old. The longer we spent in the room, the more I saw that was just icky. The bathtub leaked onto the floor from underneath the seams, the plug-in was so loose that the hair dryer wouldn't stay in. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need to cook for the weekend. The refrigerator looks like something that was picked up at a garage sale for $50. It hadn't been wiped down on the inside and the front of it was stained. The armoire in the bedroom was 6 ft tall with a lamp on top that you couldn't reach (I'm 65" tall), was quite dusty inside, and no tv. The light switch didn't turn on overhead light (there was none) so you had to walk over to the bedside lamp for light. The window in the bedroom was right up against the stairs, so there was absolutely no privacy - you heard every step and voice that went up and down that staircase all day and night long. The room is advertised that it has if I replace but when you turn it on it's just electric and creates no heat. The flooring was at least 30 years old. If the room hadn't been prepaid and there'd been anything else available in downright on the beach, we probably would have left.

Summer vacation

My partner and I had a great stay at your hotel! We loved how close it was to the ocean, and appreciated how well-appointed the kitchen in the unit was. I've never stayed somewhere that provided such an array of kitchen implements! The only downside was that when we first arrived at the unit, all of the windows had been closed and the air was turned off (the unit only has heat, and we were visiting in the summer). The air inside the unit was very stuffy and stale, and we were immediately worried that there would be mold (something my partner is very sensitive to). We opened the sliding glass door to let the unit air out, and that helped, but I was uncomfortable with the fact that we had to leave this door open throughout the night to circulate the air. This posed a security risk. But, it was the only way to circulate fresh air since we were there in the summer and the unit didn't have AC.

Great price for such a nice property, the family room had a bedroom with a pullout bed and a murphy bed in the living area, as well as a kitchen. Right in the water so we could walk on the beach every morning. Lovely staff members who were friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back
