A terrific location - the most charming part of Rome. Close to most of the great sites. Staff were so accommodating. The building is old but so fun. It was a great deal for the price.

Worst place

I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Upon arrival, the reception area was uncomfortably hot and the bathroom was in very poor condition. The elevator was out of service, forcing us to carry our luggage up to the 4th floor. When we asked Federico at the front desk about the repair, he was unable to provide any clear answer. Unfortunately, things did not improve once we reached our room. The room itself was hot and stuffy, the sink was clogged, and the air conditioning did not work at all. Because of these issues, we checked out the same day and had to book another hotel, ultimately losing our money in the process. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

You can't get more central to the historic center than staying at Antica Residenza del Corso. If you are looking for convenient and clean, this is your place. A few things to note is that this is a very boutique hotel with 16 total units. Unit was very small but cozy, clean, and well decorated. AC could not keep up with the summer heat to our liking (70 H/21 C) but the showers are super cold to cool down. Use the shutters on the windows to shut out the heat from the sun during the day. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was okay. The location is great. We had great communication with Federica. The beds were comfortable but my feet hung over the end of the bed by probably 4" (I'm 6'3”). I had 2 rooms and neither room had hot water the entire time (4 nights). We had hot water for about 30 seconds and then it would turn warm-ish for 1-5 mins, then cold. The hotel was never able to solve the problem.
