The apartment has an extremely privileged position.
It's easily accessed by public transport making it the ideal choice for guests visiting the Eternal City.
Exactly located in front of the Vatican Museums stairs entrance. St Peter's Basilica as well as Castel Sant'Angelo are but a short distance from the apartment.
Metro access, literally 2 blocks away, makes sightseeing very easy to all the other major sights. It can take you anywhere in the city. Monuments such as the Colosseum, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain may be reached with few metro stops or by one of the many buses serving the area.
Located on the first floor of beautiful nineteenth century building with elevator, this apartment has about 70 sq. meters with wooden floors and high ceiling.
The apartment is made up of a living room with a full kitchen (all amenities) and two spacious bedrooms. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom (completely updated full bathrooms).
The apartment is non-smoking, air-conditioned and cool in summer, heated and cosy in winter.
The double-glazed windows (not only double panels) flood the apartment with beautiful natural light, keep it very quiet and guarantee a good night's sleep. All the windows offer a delightful view of the Vaticano.
Around the building restaurants, typical "trattorias and coffe shops, as well as the more practical facilities such as supermarkets, banks and pharmacies. One block away there is a Central Market to buy fresh produce, meats, cheeses, fruit, vegetables, bread to enjoy in the lovely kitchen.

Carla was a warm and welcoming host. She had been so helpful prior to our stay.She helped us arrange our transfer from the airport to the apartment. She was waiting at the apartment on our arrival and was kind and caring and explained everything to us very clearly. Everything was spotless and the beds very comfortable.Good heating so nice and warm on some really chilly days.The apartment was ideally located for the Vatican museum and St Peter's Basilica.Lots of local restaurants and a wonderful market selling the most amazing fresh food.Public transport very close by and easy to get into the city. We thoroughly recommend Carla's apartment...you won't be disappointed.Thank you Carla.

We were met at the apartment by Carla and we went over everything. She had great recommendations and was so helpful. She arranged a pickup from the ship terminal which took us directly to the apartment - super convenient! Allowed us to leave our luggage as it was cleaned and we found lunch. The coffee maker stopped working & she came with a new one within a few hours. The apartment was very clean and literally across from the Vatican. Loved everything about it!

Location, location, location. You can't get closer to the Vatican Museum. A nice plus to be able to walk this entire area. Good, small family restaurant a few doors down and easy grocery shopping around the corner. Would stay again!

Pros: Very clean, updated bathrooms, nice shower, comfortable bed, great location across from Vatican Museum. Cons: host charged 50 additional for late arrival. But we weren’t late. We arrived at 10:30pm and she said we arrived at 10:33pm. At 10:30pm, there was no one to meet us so we called her, and then someone came to let us in.

Spacious comfortable apartment one block from the Vatican. Hostess Carla was fantastic, met us at the apartment and gave us the most extensive introduction I have ever had including recommendations for good restauarants and sites to see. Apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable AC worked well. 2 older couples were very comfortable here. I can;t say enough good things about this place

We stayed for 4 nights. Located within 1 block of the Vatican and tour start location. Carla (property manager) was great arrainged travel for us fro airport to VRBO and again from VRBO to Cruise port. She was also very helpful with local dinning locations. We had a great time and woulf definately stay here again.

The location of this apartment is perfect. You can walk to the Vatican. In fact you can see the Vatican perimeter walls from the front door. It’s a busy area and you can walk to restaurants, markets, bars, shopping, etc from here. The apt has 2 very similar comfortable bedrooms, which was great for us, our group was 2 couples. The apartment is very comfortable with all amenities including washer and dryer. The apartment is on the first floor but we call it a second floor and used the elevator to take your luggage up and down. We communicated with Carla, the manager, via WhatsApp, she was very instrumental in booking a taxi big enough for all our luggage from the train station and back to the airport for our departure. We can’t thank her enough for everything! We booked our Vatican tour through WalksofItaly.com. I think they have the better tour guides. We highly recommend this VRBO unit - we would stay here again!

The host, Carla, was amazing! I give her a million stars! She was kind, and so helpful. She arranged our transfers to and from the apartment. She met us there and showed us everything in the apartment. She gave us a map and directions to some points of interest. The apartment was clean and we felt very safe there. The AC work great! The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because we could've used a couple more towels and there was no top sheet on any of the beds which I found odd. Maybe thats a Europe thing, but other places in Europe that we stayed at had a bottom and top sheet. It sounds like no big deal, but do they wash the comforter after every rental? Who knows? Also, this was July and we didn’t really want a comforter on top of us. A sheet would have been much better.

This apartment was an absolute gem! Located within walking distance from St. Peter’s Basilica, the location couldn’t have been more perfect—so easy to explore Vatican City and the surrounding area. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. One of the biggest highlights was the powerful air conditioning, which kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay—a true luxury in the Roman summer heat! Anniversary Celebrations

Our trip was a celebration of our 30th Wedding Anniversary and our friends’ 35th Anniversary. We spent 7 nights on a cruise and then 3 final nights in Roma. The apartment was perfect for 2 couples. It was conveniently located near the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica, The Sistine Chapel and lots of food and shopping! Our hostess, Carla, was great! She even helped us with transportation. Massimo was our driver and was very communicative and so nice! Once we got to the apartment, Carla met us there, gave us lots of good information and a map, and was always available as needed. Everything was clean and updated. We would definitely stay here again if we go back! Thanks, Carla!

Great location and comfort

This apartment was in a perfect location for many attractions. We loved the spacious, quiet and clean apartment. Carla was prompt and courteous with any inquiries. She recommended a driver to pick us up from and to the airport. We also had Massimo take us on a day trip to Montepulciano in the Tuscany region. He was excellent and helped us arrange a wine tasting too. We would stay there again and highly recommend it. The Vatican is steps away, and st Peter’s basilica is a short walk away. A croissant cafe is next door too!

Nice place

The location was great, Carla helped us with setting in. We also found it really helpful to have a delicious coffeshop right downstairs (urme Roma) when we were in a rush and needed to eat so thing fast. The location was perfect because one of our visits was at the Vatican so it was very convenient to have the Vatican right up the block basically a 1 minute walk. You also were in a great location if you like to shop because you had shops everywhere and you were 5 minutes from a main road where you could find a lot of popular stores.

Perfect Rome lication

The location of this property is perfect.If you are touring in rome we were right at the footsteps of the vatican museums and were able to easily maneuver to other historic sites. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and was very clean.
