My daughter and I traveled all over Europe, and this was honestly the best hotel we stayed at! The staff was amazing, the location was perfect and the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable! I wish we could’ve stayed there more days!

Second visit and just as good

The was our second stay at Rome River Inn and we really love it. Rooms are great, lovely locations away from the crowds and madness of the major sites but still really close. Lovely quieter roads with nice cafes nearby. Service is so friendly from front of house staff. And the little walk to breakfast is really nice. Breakfast itself is superb and we loved taking a final coffee each morning up on the terrace after breakfast. It’s a well run place that we will return to again I’m sure when we are back next.

The B&B part was on a different block from main hotel and was clean and well managed. Nice to have coffee nearby when wanted and fresh water everyday. Nice location with close walking to all key sites in Rome. Good experience. — only note is if you are light sleeper the room is near major road and can be noisy if windows open

Staff were fantastic, always wanting to help in every possible way. Cleanliness was never an issue and rooms were cleaned daily. The road outside of the hotel was loud and could keep you up if you were a light sleeper, however this did not take away from the overwhelming positive experience at the Rome River Inn. (Bed in the room being gigantic was a big plus too!)

A lovely place in. Fantastic location with views of the Tiber river. Don’t expect roomy but you’ll be comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere. Breakfast was nice but little variety. Real scrambled eggs.

1st impression were a little worrying. The outside is not very inviting. Breakfast was a short walk to another hotel. However, all our worries disappeared once we met Olive. Breakfast was excellent as was the location 10/10! Happy to return and recommend to friends and family.

The staff was AMAZING!! They accommodated our room needs, helped us with sight seeing suggestions & the breakfast was delicious! The team was absolutely delightful. The rooms were clean and we felt safe. Location was convenient to every major attraction. Would highly recommend!

We paid for a room advertised with air conditioning only to find out we were not permitted access to use it because the hotel considered it non essential for the season! Then why advertise it as having A/C??? Also paid for a room with a jacuzzi tub (more expensive) and it was non-operable for first 2.5 days of our stay. No compensation provided for either issue.
