Beautiful, central and quiet apartment strategically situated a stone away from Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Saint Peter Basilica, Castel Sant'Angelo and the famous and colorful market of Campo de' Fiori.

This apartment is 80 sqm and it has been remodeled, elegantly furnished and includes tromp l’oeil painted by the owner.

The apartment is located in a 12th Century building protected by the Ministry of "Belle Arti", for this reason the entrance door of the building and the access stairs cannot be touched and modernized.

Inside you will find:

2 Bedrooms:

- Master bedroom with a queen/king size bed (cm 170x 200)

- Second bedroom with a queen size bed (can be divided in 2 single beds)

2 bathrooms : Shower, sink, WC (bidet is incorporated in WC)

A completely organized kitchen if you would like to prepare your meals, dinning table for 4. Living area with 2 sofas, paintings on the walls, mirrors, an antique chandelier, tromp l'oeil peinted by the owner and other details give the room an elegant and chic atmosphere.

A small, but characteristic balcony looks out on an internal courtyard (smoking is allowed only on the balcony)

We loved our 5-night stay here. The apartment was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was quiet. It's on a lively street but with the double windows we did not hear any street noise and slept very well. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. Check in was great and the apartment also had several travel books on the shelf that we took advantage of while we were there. It was convenient having a washer available and there was a large drying rack to use for laundry. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location- we walked to everything: Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain. Very quiet with the windows closed. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room. It is a long flight of stairs to get to the apartment. The bathroom layout is a bit quirky - not very private or soundproof!Check-in was very easy and they helped arrange a car to the airport for us. Would definitely return.

What an amazing experience all around! The apartment was just as pictured, super cute, very clean, comfortable and in a great location! Dasha was wonderful, she met us at the apartment and give us the full tour as well as told us about the area, food recommendations, and all the services that the host can provide. We loved that we could walk everywhere from this location, great restaurants/cafes, great shopping and best of all the historical monuments.

This is a cute historic apt in a nice quiet neighborhood and walking distance to everything. There are ample restaurants nearby, and we felt very safe walking around at night. Overall our stay was pleasant and the only issues we had was the shower backed up a bit when in use and the washing machine, which we couldn't use because it had a strong moldy odor.FYI, the showers are literally 2' x 2', and while functional they are tight when you step in.

Exploring Rome

The apartment was exactly as listed. It was very clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay. The apt. Was centrally located and we were able to walk to almost everything! There are plenty of good restaurants, coffee shops, and gelato nearby as well as a grocery store. It was very handy to be able to do laundry so we didn’t have to pack a lot. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband, son and I stayed at the apartment for 4 nights and it was fantastic June 30 to July 3.Extremely clean and comfyBeds and pillows were goodExcellent location, very walkable to sites, stores and restaurants Dasha who was there to check us in was superb. She went over everything we needed to know and more. Nice to have a washing machine. No dryer but there is a drying rack on the tiny balcony. All in all a great spot. I would recommend it to others and stay there again myself if the opportunity presented itselfOf note: it is a very old historical building and has quite a few stairs to walk up to the apt. It looked daunting at first sight but was very do ableThe showers were quite slim, hard to turn around but again it worked out fineExcellent door lock system! Felt very secure!

Great location

Great apartment and location in Rome. Walkable to everything. Neighborhood was quaint and right off the main strip. Definitely felt like we were living in Italy. Many food and drink options on the block including a small supermarket. Would definitely stay here again if back in Rome.

Great base for exploring Rome

Pros: Fantastic location - away from tourist crowds but easy 5-10 minute walk to Pantheon, etc. and two great restaurants/bars on the block. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Clean. Provided shampoo, shower gel, lotion, etc. so didn't have to rush out to a store. Had extra power adapters which helped. Cons: Incredibly small showers... hard to shave or pick up anything off shower floor. Air conditioning was fine for May but might not fully cool down the rooms in heat of summer to level Americans are used to.

Great place to stay!

My niece and I stayed here for 13 days and enjoyed it all! The location was wonderful: walking distance to most locations and if not easy to catch a bus to the train terminal and from there could go anywhere (all for only 1.50 euros). Good places to grab a coffee and lunch or dinner. All this and being just a few blocks of the main roads there was hardly any people (only the restaurant below us but the windows shut off any noise) Everything worked out well!

Fantastic place located in the center of everything you want to see in Rome. Walking distance to all attractions. Cafes, restaurants and grocery store a few minutes away. Check-in process was very smooth and efficient. Management very helpful in arranging transfers from and to the airport. Apartment very comfortable. Bathrooms are tiny including tiny showers but remember you are in a historical building and have two bathrooms after all!!! Overall we enjoyed our stay. Fantastic rental.

Cozy Central Rome Base

Four adults had enough room for a short 4 day exploration of Rome highlights, Vatican Museums, Coliseum, Forum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona. All were within 10-30 minute easy walks from the apartment. There are numerous restaurants and bars, shops close by.

Great Location!

This is a wonderful 2nd floor apartment in a great location (~30 steps), within walking distance of a beautiful church (across the street), shops, cafes, and Piazzas. The apartment was clean and was as advertised. We were lucky to have the ability to have an early check-in and the host was helpful. We were 2 couples and had plenty of room to move around and felt safe in the area. The showers were a bit tight for larger folks, but we found similar style stand up showers in other homes. Taxis & Ubers found us easily. We would recommend and stay here again.

Disappointed

I loved the place initially, but just could not sleep at night. The a/c was not available, so I opened the windows at night. Unfortunately, the bar below is loud at night, and thus I couldn’t sleep, even with earplugs. So I closed the windows in the bedroom but there was no circulation. I was way too hot to sleep…managed about 3 hours each night.

Great location

We stayed for 3 days - The apartment is very close to piazza navona and Vatican and lots of shops and restaurants nearby . There is a grocery store ( Pam local ) and a taxi stand and bus stop within couple blocks The listing company contacts ( Serena and Kelly ) were very prompt in answering any queries and also let us keep our luggage in their office in the morning until the check in the afternoon. They also helped with airport transfers which was very helpful . Apartment is located in 2nd floor and there are 5 flights of stairs Kitchen appliances are somewhat dated but everything worked well No laundry detergent - we had to go to local store to buy a full bottle ( no individual pods available) No dryer - so has to dry clothes on the balcony - a clothes drying stand is provided Overall it was excellent experience, except for the small inconveniences .. definitely would recommend .
