If you are reading this review look no further for a perfect place to stay in Trastevere. What a fantastic hotel. A huge room, excellent amenities, amazingly helpful staff (thank you, Jessica for all your advice), and a location that is second to none. 20 minutes or so walking distance to all the main attractions, but you are staying away from the tourist traps and in a neighborhood that is overflowing with great restaurants, stores, and cozy Roman vibe. Special shout out to Da Enzo”s restaurant, the best meal we had during our stay, and literally steps away from the hotel. In short, the perfect place for a perfect stay.

It's not luxury and it's not a palace so I'm not sure how this place got it's name. However, it's well located on one of the quieter streets of Trastevere. On the plus side the room was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet with a relatively contemporary feel. On the negative side, we didn't initially receive the code needed to access the property which was a little stressful when we arrived fairly late in the evening. That was sorted quickly however. We had a problem with the electrical socket in the bedroom not working which meant no kettle/coffee machine and we had to charge phones in the bathroom. We asked twice for this to be looked at but it was not resolved. The shower head also sprayed more water upwards than downwards which also wasn't ideal. The wardrobe was also a little bit tatty. The general feeling was that with 10% more effort this place this place could be excellent. We had a fantastic stay in Rome overall though and absolutely loved the Trastevere area in particular

We loved our stay here! The location is safe and quiet, but close to all conveniences such as amazing restaurants, beautiful streets and piazzas. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Do yourself a favour, stay here and wander this beautiful neigjbourhood. It’s a win win!

We had a really amazing stay here! The location is perfect and the unit is great. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was a huge plus for our family. The only thing I would caution people about is there is no elevator so the first floor is the best if you have a lot of luggage.

Couldn't hope for a better location--all the old city charm bit a short, scenic walk to Rome's tourisr sites and energy. Lots of friendljy, good food steps away. Not a "luxury palace" but serviceable and fairly priced.. No elevator, if you need one.

My family of 4 stayed in the deluxe suite which had two rooms ( 1 king bed and 1 queen) and 2 washrooms. Lots of closet space and large windows. Exactly as advertised and pictures shown on their website. Room was very clean, comfortable and modern. Location is perfect within 15-20 mins walk to most of the tourist sites and in the Trastevere district. Lots of Restaurants steps away. The staff were amazing. Jessica was fantastic!!! I would fully recommend Effe Luxury Palace to anyone looking to stay in the centre but yet quiet and peaceful.

Great place and neighbourhood. Only downside was the taxi's had a hard time locating it, so would usually get dropped off and picked up a couple minute walk away, but no big deal. Would stay again!

With only a few reviews, I was wary of booking here despite the high scores. But we lucked out, the Effe exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very comfortable (esp beds), clean, and up to date. Despite being in noisy Trastevere, it was very quiet at night. Location was outstanding, within easy reach of every major Rome sight. Would definitely stay here again.

Effe was a nice property with spacious rooms, near food places, and walkable to some of the main attractions. Close enough to get to everywhere you need to get to.
