Nice quiet area. Staff really friendly and although our initial room request (twin) was not available, they did their best to accommodate us by providing separate beefing. Close to major attractions and some great restaurants.

If you’re spending time comparing Hotel Viminale to all the other hotels in the area…stop considering and just book it! I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Viminale, which clearly prides itself on customer service. I was offerred Prosecco upon my arrival and the friendly and helpful staff continued to impress me throughout my stay. Rooms and common areas were very nice and modern. The included breakfast is very good and they have a lovely terrace for eating. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Great position. Amazing staff. Small niggles.

Positioned within walking distance from Roma Termini (railway station) the hotel is positioned in a quiet side street just off the bustling Via Cafour, we walked with cases to Hotel Viminale in 12 minutes. Our check in was easy, quick and welcoming. The hotel staff at Viminale are unbelievable and I do not use that word lightly. Throughout our stay each one went beyond duty with a friendly approach and willingness to help at any time, 11/10 all day long, tremendous. We walked to all the main attractions in minutes from the hotel, Colosseum (10), Trevi (12), Spanish steps (18), Pantheon (12). Even the Vatican was achieved in under 40 minutes. We also walked over to Trastavere one evening for dinner and the sunset which was less than a 30 minute stroll. Except for once, we stayed out all day and ate out for lunch and dinner as everything was within easy reach. The hotel itself is so clean you could eat off the floor and daily room cleaning is excellent. My only gripes would be no bedside tables & lamps for keeping your phone etc nearby, no drawers for clothing or nic-nacs, only 2 plug points and a very shallow open clothes hanging area. This might be fine for 1 night but we had to operate out of cases during our 4 night stay. Not good and the only reason I’ve dropped my score to 4 from what would be a nailed on 5.

Mixed Experience – Great Location, OK staff But Serious Cleanliness Issue We stayed at this hotel in Rome for 4 nights. While the location was excellent and made it easy to explore the city, we were quite disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. Throughout our stay, we kept finding flies in the room which were clearly coming from the bathroom drains. It was not just a few; we were seeing around 10 a day, and it became really frustrating trying to sleep at night when all you could hear were fly sounds. We reported the issue to the staff on the third day and asked if we could switch rooms for the remaining two nights. Unfortunately, they said no as it’s peak season. The lady tried to be helpful but she was quite patronising and tried to give us a free drink at the hotel bar but didn’t seem to genuinely care just that the hotel is newly refurbished and they wanted good reviews. The explanation we received was that the flies were coming in from the courtyard, as our room had a connecting door to it. However we never once opened the courtyard door as it was too cold. we repeatedly saw the flies emerging from the bathroom drains, not the courtyard. This made the room feel unhygienic and uncomfortable, which really affected our experience. Oth staff were polite and friendly, but that didn’t make up for the discomfort. I would not recommend staying in either of the two rooms that connect to the lower-level courtyart next to the gym- avoid or book elsewhere

Hotel was very quiet, room was large enough. Small shower, TV had very low volume which couldn't be raised. Problem with room AC last night it was too warm and couldn't be lowered. Safe was not working properly. Breakfast great, staff wonderful.

We chose this hotel due to its close walking proximity to the main train station. Very happy with it! Well appointed rooms, nice bathrooms, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. A very quiet location made for a great nights sleep.

We stayed for a short break for our anniversary in mid-April. The hotel is in a great location, walkable (if you don’t mind walking!) to pretty much everything. We struggled a bit with the air conditioning so slept with the shutters closed and French doors open and apart from the occasional scooter all we really heard was birds. The views from the balcony were lovely. The staff were friendly, approachable and very helpful. The only issue we had was that there was a drain smell in our room that didn’t go despite cleaners etc checking the room. Air freshener was brought to the room though.

Hotel Viminale is a lovely small hotel everything is modern and clean. The staff were lovely and friendly. The complimentary breakfast had plenty of choice and was delicious. It is in a great location to discover roma!

This is an elegant and well appointed hotel. It’s relatively central and is accessible by foot to many of the attractions of Rome. But what I would really like to highlight is the service of the Staff. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. They made reservations, recommendations and even prepared a snack bag for us to take when we had to leave early one morning. This hotel has my full recommendation!

A Surprisingly Delightful Stay - Exceeded Expectat

From the moment we arrived, this hotel provided a truly exceptional experience. I was immediately struck by the sleek, modern design and the overall feeling of "lean" efficiency - everything was thoughtfully placed and immaculately clean. The staff truly made the stay memorable. We were greeted with genuine warmth and kindness, and to our surprise and delight, offered freshly made espressos upon arrival - a touch of personalized service that went above and beyond! We were also fortunate enough to receive a complimentary upgrade, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was another highlight. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the selection was varied enough to satisfy any palate. Overall, this hotel far exceeded my expectations. It's a fantastic option for travelers who appreciate a blend of modern efficiency, exceptional service, and attention to detail. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
