The staff was amazing. Room was clean and comfy. Only problem was getting to La Lira and not being able to check in till 2pm so we wondered around for 3 hours and it was very hot and humid and we were very tired.

The room and facility was was clean and nice and un to date asthetic. The staff was helpful and nice. Hotels.com had screwed up our booking and the staff went out of their way to help us. It was also super convenient to the airport and the shuttle service to the airport was so nice!!

The hotel was clean and the bed comfortable. It was within walking distance of shops and restaurants. But the bed only had a top sheet - no bed cover, comforter or blanket. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport, and booked a shuttle when we checked in. It made the morning commute to the airport easy and less stressful.

While the entrance is a bit strange, our room was spacious with an outstanding bathroom. The staff was welcoming and made excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants. The shuttle to the airport was on time and efficient. I’ll stay again when flying out of Rome.

great choice

This is a wonderful small hotel for those wanting to stay near Rome airport. A very warm and helpful staff, and the room was clean, modern and spacious. A big plus is the airport shuttle the hotel offers (8 euro pp, versus 35+euro in a taxi or uber.) Also, it is only five minutes walk from 'restaurant row' with a fine lineup of eateries - try La Marina seafood restaurant (terrific.) La Lira will be my automatic choice for travel in and out of Rome.

The staff and services were good but the breakfast was really very poor. The early checkout is also very inconvenient. For the price that I paid for 1 night, it was not at all upto the par for VIP access hotel.
