A city tour of Rostock or a day at the zoo are also recommended. Among polar bears and penguins, lions and cheetahs, you can discover some of Germany's most beautiful animal enclosures. A highlight, especially if you're traveling with children, is a visit to Karl's Adventure Farm in Rövershagen.
