Just a few minutes stroll to the entrance for the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest, cafes on your doorstep and the gateway to the Blue and Green Lakes, this apartment style home ticks all the boxes for a perfect holiday with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an extra living area/bunk room. Internal access garage for the bikes and a spa pool to relax in at the end of the day.



The Space:

The main living area features an open-plan layout that seamlessly integrates the kitchen, dining, and living spaces, perfect for entertaining and relaxation. This area flows effortlessly onto a north-facing deck, complete with a BBQ, ideal for outdoor dining. Upstairs, you'll find the master bedroom with a comfortable Queen bed, offering a private retreat. Also upstairs, there's a second bedroom, also with a Queen bed.



Downstairs, discover a unique walk-through bunk room with two sets of bunk beds, accommodating up to four guests, leading to the fourth bedroom. Bedroom four features a Queen bed and its own ensuite bathroom, ensuring privacy. The laundry facilities and a large single garage, perfect for parking or storing bikes, add convenience. Step outside from the garage or bedroom four to the back patio where you'll find a small courtyard featuring a relaxing spa pool.

The beds were comfortable, the unit is spacious, there were plenty of towels, and conveniently located to town. Management was responsive to our request. However, the unit requires some maintenance and the living room furnishings were stained. Overall, a decent place, just needs some TLC.

Gross! The property was extremely dirty and not well cared for. There was lots of dirt, hair, bugs, dust filled cobwebs, spiders, and stained and broken furniture. The walls were covered in scuffs, bug debris and gross stains. It also smelled like cat pee. I reached out to the property manager to discuss our concerns but did not hear anything back. Ultimately we did not feel comfortable staying and booked rooms at another local hotel. Not only what I never stayed this property again, but I wouldn’t stay somewhere run by Innlist either.

We recently stayed at this property and found both positive aspects and areas that require improvement.Positives:   •   The kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of crockery and cutlery provided.   •   Bedding and towels were of excellent quality and generously supplied.   •   The accommodation layout worked well for our family, with all the children’s beds located downstairs.Negatives:   •   Rubbish left in the garage from previous tenants created an unpleasant smell.   •   The water filter was loose on the bench and did not work at all.   •   The outdoor decks were greasy and mouldy, and dangerously slippery in wet weather.   •   The upstairs shower screen was dirty, very loose, and difficult to operate, raising safety concerns.   •   Wi-Fi connectivity was poor, working only downstairs near the modem. The advertised upstairs Wi-Fi was not functional.Overall:At 500 per night, we did not feel the property represented good value. At this price point, we expected the home to be exceptionally clean and for all facilities to be in proper working order. While some aspects of the stay were very good, overall the property did not meet the standard we anticipated.

Lovely property near Tree Walk!

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was absolutely perfect for visiting the Tree Walk—it’s just about a 15-minute walk to the ticket office, which made it super convenient. We highly recommend doing the Tree Walk both during the day and at night to fully experience its magic. The house itself was wonderful. The bedrooms were spacious, and everything was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. There’s also a nice selection of shops and restaurants just a few minutes away, so everything we needed was within easy reach. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in Rotorua, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others!

Good location for The Redwoods and easy into town. Has everything you need and plenty of room. Just a couple of things that are needed is a few more mirrors as only have one in the bathrooms which is a pain when everyone wants to get ready to go out etc. The other thing is that the cleaners need a bit of a tune up as their cleaning isn’t great. The dishwasher stunk and when we finally got it going the plates, cups and cutlery were still yuck as the drain was gross. Went to use the dryer and wondered why it wasn’t drying then found the water tray over flowing. Duvet covers needed washing too. Sad because other than those things the place is great. I would stay there again if I new the problems were fixed.

Has everything you need

The size of the property was great, allowing everyone to have their own space if they wanted it. The layout of the kitchen + lounge open plan area is also done well for socialising. The property manager was very responsive when we had a question about the dishwasher. I'd definitely stay here again, we had a great time! Location is really convenient too.
