Hotel and staff were amazing. The area outside was not safe, we witnessed a stabbing while we had dinner in the restaurant. Not surprising bc Sacramento has gotten so bad but still pretty shocking to witness.

Great place , the services were great , and friendly . The beds are a little stiff for me . But over all it was comfortable. This is our second time here . We liked the first time so went back . Recommend going back for a third time , hopefully soon . Love having the restaurant in the same place don’t have to leave, and come back .

It was fine. Hotel was clean but was just a room. Very close to the Golden1 Center if you’re in town for a game or concert. Parking was about $50 a night and valet only. Not much to do at the hotel - no pool, and the “rooftop bar” on the 6th floor wouldn’t serve us 30 minutes before closing so we didn’t get to check that out. Our room overlooked the alleyway and dumpsters and we were woken up at 2 am by dumpster divers looking for bottles and cans.

The hotel lobby and room were beautiful, elegant, and well laid out. The service was fantastic too. Very kind and accommodating. My biggest complaint, and this was extremely frustrating, was the cost for parking. $47 per night is insanity for someone that is already paying a bunch of money to stay at the hotel. Valet is the only option offered, which is fine for a nice hotel, but WHY do I have to pay just to park it overnight. Multiply that by 4 nights and it's almost $200. I appreciate the $21 VIP package but unfortunately I didn't use it. And finally, staying in California, where all online pricing needs to be up-front pricing, there was no mention of the $47 valet parking fee on the website. For anyone driving to the hotel, that is a hidden cost. And a considerable one at that. I hope something can be done about the high costs for hotel clients.

Overall a good property

I stayed here for a business trip. Overall, it was a good property and easy to walk the city, get to restaurants, etc. Staff was very friendly. My issues were with the cleanliness of the room when I arrived, and the lack of housekeeping. The letter I got when I checked in was bizarre. It read like we were still in the middle of Covid, which we definitely are not. The room was definitely dusty when I arrived. On my second day there (of a three day stay) I requested my room be cleaned. Never happened. I had a friend who checked into the hotel to meet me and hang out with me on my final day there. When he arrived, the lane to pull into valet was full of cars. (I noticed this on the previous day I was there as well.) He made an effort to get the Valet's attention to have his car parked, and got no response. He finally gave up after driving around the block a couple of times and parked in a garage a couple of blocks away. Had a very nice breakfast on my final morning. I also thought it odd a Hyatt would charge you for bottled water in the room. I would think at least one or two bottles would be complimentary for a multiple day stay. Overall, a good stay. But housekeeping needs to get resolved and the company providing their valet needs to improve their service.
