The staff was just okay. The person that checked us in was friendly and efficient. But the lady that checked us out was rather rude. She saw me waiting at the front desk, but just ignored me and continued to wipe the table in the breakfast area. She could have acknowledged me and let me know that she’d be there soon. I didn’t mind waiting, but it was the fact that she didn’t even say anything to me even after we made eye contact. The hotel and room were clean enough, but not exceptionally clean. The white blankets both had some stains on them. The beds were comfortable but the AC unit was unpredictable. The old thermostat said Error so we knew we had to control it from the unit in front of the window. It got so cold in the room, we had to turn it off. But the room continued to be very cold. And there was a draft coming from the area with the couch. The free breakfast was mediocre. Nothing stood out. The only really nice thing about the hotel was the location. Being a 3 minute walk from UC Davis’ Welcome Center made it so convenient. I would stay here again if I needed to visit a student at UC Davis.

It’s a convenient location if you are visiting UC Davis since it is right on campus. They charge extra for parking, which was not clear when you book the reservation. Breakfast buffet was just ok. I would only stay there again because of the location. I did not think the quality of the hotel justified the price.

The bed was high and so comfortable! The people working there are so helpful and friendly. The first day I asked if there was hot chocolate . I was told no but I can make you one with chocolate syrup that we have. So sweet she made me one and was so nice. I didn’t get her name. She was blonde with medium length hair. The next day I asked again if you have hot chocolate a staff member made me a hot chocolate She is a senior at UC Davis. Outstanding, courteous, and thoughtful Staff. It was a very enjoyable stay!!!! A microwave oven would have useful.

We could walk to UC Davis, my granddaughter is starting there this fall and it was very easy to get to her dorm. It was very convenient to stay at this clean and safe hotel.

Not at all what i expected

Staff was friendly but they were constantly running around trying to make things right. Breakfasts were real disappointing. Had to constantly ask for simple basic Breakfast items like butter, bread, milk and... trash bins were filled with garbage. Tables were dirty and nobody seemed care to clean the common breakast serving tables. Eggs, sausages, friuts you name it was on the floor ... looked like a messy dog had feasted there and left. Disappointing experience.
