Chalet Conca
Ski the legendary resorts of Megeve and St Gervais-Les-Bains in the French Alps and stay in the stunning Chalet Conca with Chamonix Homes.
This beautiful five-bedroom alpine chalet sits under the western flanks of Mt Blanc and enjoys stunning views of the mountains. Sitting at the end of a quiet dead-end track, Chalet Conca enjoys a peaceful location in its own private grounds. Deer and boar can be regularly seen in the woodland, and it is a bird-watchers paradise where hawks and eagles can be seen spiralling upwards from the flat valley floor below.
Sat between the two resorts of Megeve and St Gervais, the ski lifts can be reached in five minutes by car and give access to the expansive Evasion Mont-Blanc domain that includes both St Gervais and Megeve.
The interior of Chalet Conca has been carefully curated by its owners and the walls are adorned with eye-catching artwork. The main living area offers guests the opportunity to relax and socialise on two large, comfortable sofas that face each other in front of an open fire.
The kitchen is beautifully equipped with everything you or your chef might need to create fantastic meals which can then be enjoyed around the large, round dining table. In summer, large sliding-glass windows lead out on to the wooden decking for you to enjoy alfresco dining.
Guests are accommodated in five bedrooms, four of them en-suite.
The chalet is entered on the lower floor either through the large triple garage or the main front door. This floor contains the TV lounge and a large double bedroom with a shower room that can also be set up with single beds as a twin.
The upper floor is accessed up a wide-wooden staircase and contains four bedrooms. Two are double bedrooms with bathrooms with baths, one of these also contains a small steam room / hamman.
The other two bedrooms are connected and share a bathroom with a shower. With two built-in single beds and two twin beds that can connect to create a double, these two rooms can be closed off from the corridor to make a perfect family room for four.
