Lovely breakfast. Room I had was right across from stairwell door which slammed every time someone used it. As well, there was an adjoining room which the door didn’t do much to keep noise out. Cut my arm (a fair slice) going down the back stairwell while holding handrail so something sharp along that wall.

Completly dyfuntional for "extended stay" unless you like lying on the floor to use the microwave, mini fridge and washer/dryer. There were no upper cupboards for food and the counter and sink were too small, partly because you had to put dry food there..The bathroom door hit the shower sliding door and the nightstand light was too dull to read by. The ceiling fan in the bathroom was past the "best before date". Although the main room was spacious, there were no dressers. On the positive side: TV, pool, grounds, personanable and helpful staff

We had a really good experience here. We actually visited two years ago and remembered we enjoyed ourselves but this time I think was even better. It seems like the property is putting effort to update and renew the rooms and we liked it. Our room particularly had new floors, the bathroom was pretty new and it all looked pretty good except the bathroom ceiling. The vent definitely needed a vacuum and the ceiling had a leak at one point so it needs a patch job and paint but otherwise…. We loved it. The ceiling didn’t impart the comfort of our stay. The breakfast was small but a nice little variety with bagels, English muffins, muffins, pancakes, yogurt, sausages, eggs and omelettes with juice and chocolate milk and of course coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again - thank you for a nice visit!

My husband and I stayed one night Staff were so friendly and room was big and really clean. Also the king bed was so comfortable. Pool was good and breakfast was ok but the gym wasn’t great. I saw many tents around the hotel so I felt unsafe.

Staff is extremely friendly and professional. The property has a had a few renovations since the last time I was there. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. No complaints. This is by no means a glamorous hotel but a great place to stay if you’re looking for a deal. I would recommend bringing a white noise machine as the doors from the other rooms are quite loud. I will be back :)

Ended up with a room that was near the stairs and also beside the grand hall, so things got noisy real early in the morning with a lot of slamming doors with people going downstairs (no elevators so stairs are used). Although room was clean but rest of hotel wasn't as much (dead moths at my room door, garbage filled etc).. But I would say staff was excellent in accommodating my request to check out early and receive refund for unused day.
