The stay there started when we walked into a room and my shoes were sticking to the floor, the mold on the bathroom ceiling left little to be desired as well as feeling unsafe to walk anywhere without footwear, the heater did not work, the TV did not work and when I went to ask for another possible room, there was no one to answer my phone call by calling either from the room phone or my personal cell phone, no one was in the office, the after hours call button left unanswered. I have requested a refund through them but would also like a discount code for the inconvenience.

If you’re unfamiliar with the area…it’s sketchy. Worst part though was the amount of ROACHES!! I opened the door and saw easily 20 live ones running across the floor. Several dead on the wall. It was a non smoking room but the smoke detector was removed from the ceiling? There were over a dozen cigarette burns in the bedding. And the TV didn’t work…I couldn't stay and ended up leaving. Charging anything over $20 a night would be a ripoff. Eww. Just eww.

I arrived after hours and followed the instructions to ring the bell for service, but no one responded for a long time. I kept trying until I finally decided to call the hotel, and only after the third call did someone answer and come to open the door. The man in charge was clearly upset for being woken up and showed no customer service skills at all. Honestly, I shouldn’t have to apologize for waking up hotel staff when I’m just trying to check in — that’s part of the service. He was rude, made faces, and seemed very annoyed. Definitely not the kind of welcome a guest expects when arriving at a hotel
