Had a great stay other than the sheriffs blocking off every access to the hotel and having to drive in circles for an hour until finally one officer let us through the barricades. Great stay other than that extremely frustrating moment.

I arrived late and the staff member, though professional was not warm and did not offer my Hilton Honor bottled water to me. Then I was placed in a room facing the Freeway and it was as if the walls were paper-thin. So the next morning I talked to Danell and she was the best! She had a warm, welcoming conversation and put me in a room opposite the Freeway. It was much peaceful until a couple across from my room got into a heated altercation and was screaming, yelling and fighting each other in their room and in the hallway at 4:37am. When I grabbed the room phone to call the front desk, I realized the phone did not have a cord into the wall. It was just a non-working phone on the desk. So I called the front desk from my cell and I guess they sent someone up because I heard the man yell 413 and then the woman yelled, you have the drugs in 413. Needless to say, both nights I stayed were a bit restless. Breakfast was good though and Danell was a charm.

We had an issue with our air conditioning unit once checked in and the staff moved us immediately. Calvin, who we met through our meals in the mornings, was amazing. He created a great experience for us both and should be commended for his amazing attitude towards helping guests.
