The front service was good. The people attending were nice. The room was ok. It felt dirty. The restroom wall is cracked behind the toilet. You can tell its old. The worst part was we were unable to sleep. It was 1-2am and other people were throwing themselves from the balcony to the pool. Making a lot of noise, cussing, yelling, there was a child crying. Overall it was terrible. At 6 am there was another lady yelling outside our room

The only thing I liked about this property was that it was close to Lackland Airforce Base. We stayed here for my son's graduation and the first night we were here, our car got broken into. Thankfully nothing was inside to take. Then we discovered a homeless camp under the bridge right in front of the hotel. The room cleanliness wasn't great either. There was black soap scum (I'm assuming) under the soap holders in showers. There is no room for privacy if staying with other people in the room. If going to the area for graduation, it's worth the extra few dollars and driving time to stay somewhere else.

The only thing good about this hotel was that it was close to the Air Force Base, which is what we were there for. The homeless around there fortunately were very friendly but a lot. No ice, phone broke and no phone in one of the rooms, both rooms Missing hairdryers, which they did bring to us.

To start off, the gym was not available, not clean at all… had to disinfect the room when I arrived. The lobby is tiny, would be cramped during breakfast. Bathtub was clogging up when in the shower. It’s set up like a motel. I understand that there are renovations being done, but the rooms that are being rented out, should be in top condition. The only good thing about this, was the staff being friendly. Some staff members were passive aggressive and didn’t want to assist. Maintenance and the cleaning staff were always readily available and happy to help. If the pictures weren’t promising when booking, I wouldn’t have stayed here in a million years.

I was staying here to attend my son's graduation from basic training.... The room had a dirty floor...there are some questionable folks wandering around and the 2nd day the property had no water. Apparently they were working on the laundry room but we weren't notified. When the water came back on, it was brown water for a very long time! It was a place to sleep and shower so it served its purpose but if I had to return, I would choose somewhere else!

HAZARDOUS HOTEL-Destitute Dystopian-Outside/Inside

Destitute dismal property hosting loitering, debris, DANGEROUS unsafe hazardous grounds, FILTHY ROOM with broken/outdated appliances- inside/outside. Unprofessional staff, online intentionally misleading and deceiving customers through false statements, omissions, manipulative pictures and descriptions to secure a sale.

Rooms were pretty nasty. Walls were cracked and falling apart, floors were grimy, the baseboards by the AC Unit were rotting and coming off the walls, and the parking lot was nasty with stray cats, trash, and quite a few junkies in & out of the area. I had called ahead twice asking about how to do early check in. They told us about the costs and that was just needed to call ahead. After I called ahead told them we were gonna drive from 3 hours away and needed a place for our dogs to be while we go to SeaWorld, we arrived and they said no rooms were available even though I did exactly as they told me to. So frustrating and unacceptable. We could not find an ice machine. Both the gym and the laundry room were out of order.

The property was covered in trash, litter everywhere, random children trying to walk into my room. Mold in the bathroom dripping faucets, heavy dust and mold in the air conditioner. We ran for our lives. Never again.

The buildings are a little old, and it shows, but they've been maintained well and for a "value" motel it's clean and in good condition, much better than other "value" motels that I've stayed at in San Antonio. Breakfast choices were quite limited, I would have like to see more choices, pretty much just waffels, bagels, and cold cereal, but I was very pleased that they started breakfast early on the days of the BMT graduation.

Worst La Quinta that I have stayed at

The property is old and in poor conditions. The free breakfast did not exist: waffle irons were broken and no milk for the cereal. Homeless persons surround the property. One of the pools was closed. Laundry and exercise rooms were closed too. Bathroom door could not be shut. Bed was comfortable though.

You get what you pay for

There was a lot of remodeling being done on the hotel. However our room was not great. The toilet didn't work well, the shower was terrible, but the worst part was the "blanket". The fact that it was a thin mattress pad between two sheets didn't bother us much, The fact that it was NASTY did. It looked like it had not been washed and had dried blood and a very questionable stain. When we asked for a new blanket, we were told they didn't have one due to them having a lot of families staying.
