Perfect stay for a couple, or single traveler. Private entrance and private front yard. Fully equipped, very comfortable, outside succulent garden with table and chairs on a quiet street. Laundry room. Centrally located! Our place is very close to the I-5 and I-52 entrances. 8 minutes to La Jolla, 10 minutes to Pacific Beach, 12 minutes to USD, 15 minutes to downtown (ZOO), 15 minutes to Torrey Pines state park. Also 12 minutes away from “Convoy Area” Asian district with many great restaurants.

Guests have to always clean up after themselves including doing the dishes and putting trash away when bins under the kitchen sink are full.
Please make sure all lights, fans, AC/ heater, stove/ oven, washer/ dryer and TV are off every time you leave the house. Also, please be water wise!
At check out, please let me know when you vacate our house so we can start getting it ready for the next guest. Put the keys back in the lock box. Thx

Lovely little cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. We arrived very late after a several hour delayed flight, so finding the right address was a little difficult in the dark. That being said, once we did locate it it was super easy to get in and the place was very cute, very clean and the perfect size for the two of us. The bed was comfortable and while it was hot outside during the day all we needed at night was the ceiling fan. Plenty of hot water, nice kitchen and very quiet peaceful front garden for an afternoon glass of wine or morning coffee. We found we were within 20 minutes of every place we wanted to to go.

This home was perfect for a solo traveler (but will accommodate a couple easily). Full transparency: I had to travel unexpectedly due to the death of a friend. To be able to come "home" to this lovely cottage and all of its tranquility was a balm to my soul. It truly provided a safe haven to grieve. In addition, Santiago was communicative and responsive to all of my sleeve tugging. He was patient and kind and added to the experience. Would definitely recommend this cute little cottage, that was centrally located between Clairemont, La Jolla and a stone's throw from Coronado. Tens, tens, tens across the board.

Perfect little place for our short stay in San Diego. I was bringing my daughter to UCSD and wanted to be close just in case she needed anything, and it's only a short drive to the school. Close to the beach, and close to shopping (mall), and grocery. Home was clean and would definitely stay again!

Gem in San Diego

We are from Arizona, and to escape the June heat, we rented this beautiful and functional one-bedroom, one-bath home with a full kitchen for 12 days. The private entrance suite is beautifully maintained, featuring an upgraded kitchen and bathroom. A few days before our trip, Santiago sent us simple instructions, and Gracy greeted us upon arrival. Parking was available on the street directly in front of the suite. The neighborhood was very quiet, with friendly people walking their dogs in the evenings. We brought our e-bikes and were initially concerned about security, but Gracy eased our anxiety. When we weren’t riding, we felt comfortable leaving our bikes locked on the front patio of the suite. The patio itself is eye-catching and secluded, surrounded by trees and lush foliage. It was lovely sitting outside in the evenings with a glass of wine, enjoying the cooler weather. The homeowners were quick to answer any questions and were very helpful. The home is perfectly located near the I-5 and I-805 off Highway 52, making everything in San Diego within a 30-minute drive. To sum up our stay: We’ve used VRBO for only one other property—a place on Long Island, NY, where we’ve stayed for many years. However, when you find a great place in a perfect location with wonderful hosts, you know you’ve struck gold. We will definitely stay here again during our hot Arizona summers.
