The staff is very nice and helpful but the valet and check in system aren’t great. Really need a new way to check in, my friends room wasn’t even ready and we arrived an hour or so after check in time. The place was packed with people who were not even guests and could barely walk around. The line was awful but the staff was kind, however for the price, not sure this place is worth it anymore.

Came here this weekend with my girls for a girls trip, upon first arrival the hotel was so cute decorated for Christmas, lots of cute patterns everywhere very maximalist in the best way. There was great customer service at the concierge, walking into the hotel room it was nicely decorated, updated and had everything you needed on the bar. Overall all the amenities at the hotel the restaurants were good, the Bar was super fun, the pool was beautiful vintage look and the Club was also super cute and decorated, but i think the DJ was having a bad night bc her music was okay..

The food at the 24 hour diner was delicious, and so was dinner at Quixote. We also loved the whole experience and decor at the Hotel during Christmas season. Lou Lou's lounge and The Gutter were so much fun! I 100% recommend staying at the hotel and enjoying all the amenities. You will not regret it.

You truly do not need to leave this hotel.. at all. It has absolutely everything. The place is stunning, wildly charming, and kitschy in the best possible way. We were there at Christmas and the decorations were next level.. it genuinely felt like we were living inside a movie set. Quixote, the on-site Mexican restaurant, was hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Lou Lou’s Jazz Club was an absolute blast for New Year’s Eve.. pure joy from start to finish. The Circle Bar was always buzzing, full of energy and life, and Gutter (the bowling alley bar) was packed in that perfect, electric way that just makes the night better. I’m already plotting my return. This is officially a once-a-year getaway kind of place.

It was during xmas season, so it was crazy busy. Lot of so called influencers taking pics all over the place, which was annoying. Couldn't check in til after 4pm, but staff were all friendly and the place was beautifully decorated. Rooms are good size with an incredible mini-bar, never seen one like it. Would likely stay again, we are local so don't stay in hotels in SD much.
