Our room was comfortable and clean. The front desk evening and morning staff were courteous, professional, and helpful. Even though the Lamplighter Inn & Suites is located on a busy street and it was busy with many people staying there, we were surprised at how quiet it was in our room, and it was not difficult to get to even when arriving at night. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and it felt like a fairly safe place. The property offered a complimentary continental breakfast. The zoo is about 18 minutes away making it a good place to stay at again should we decide to go see it next time. I would recommend it for its economical price, central location to various places, cleanliness, and safety.

We had a special request that wasn’t noted on the original reservation. The young woman at the front desk truly, went out of her way to accommodate us. Our king room was well appointed, inexpensive yet exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry and did not have the opportunity to try their continental breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
