Charming 3 bedroom home located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with backyard canyon views. We are perfectly situated central to ALL San Diego attractions, approx 30 mins travel time and only 7 miles to the nearest beach.

Twice as nice

This was our 2nd time staying here and it was just as amazing as the first! The owner and host are so accommodating and they have thought of everything. We never wanted to leave the backyard. We'll definitely be back again!

Beautiful home with spacious outdoor living

We had a very comfortable relaxing stay in this beautiful home that was spotless and well equipped, better than a luxury hotel. The area is very well located with great restaurants in easy driving distance and we didn't go more than 20 minutes away and had amazing dining choices the whole weekend as well as the local coffee, bagel and donut shops a few minutes away for morning treats! We would highly recommend this home for family trips as the location is great, the home is just so comfortable, sparkling clean and well equipped and the outdoor space makes your morning coffee an absolute treat and it is a lovely quiet neighborhood. Very easy check in and although we didn't need to contact anyone during our stay we were provided all the information for contact and a lovely handwritten note welcoming us was a lovely touch

Perfection in San Diego

This comfortable, pristine home has so much going for it. The house had everything the 3 couples needed - privacy, comfort, places to get together or have quiet time. The property view is breathtaking with a family of hawks hanging out - but not bothering the hummingbirds. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with gadgets and appliances AND everything was labeled so it was easy to find your way. The coffee station was a dream for the coffee drinkers. The neighborhood is quiet. The manager and owners were welcoming. I loved the padlock entry so no key was needed. We wanted to the flexibility to go to Balboa Park or Torrey Pines and then come back home to a place where we could relax. We would definitely return. Thank you to our hosts!

Memorial Day weekend

When we first entered and looked around, We were looking for a few things. Coffee bar. Had an option for pot coffee or Keurig (which was great for us since we only had 2 coffee drinkers). My daughter in law was so excited about the lemon tree and wanted a cup of tea. We then found the tea station. She was happy all weekend. In all- there not a single thing that we needed that was not there. Everything was immaculate, well organized and labeled. At the end of our trip we were still finding drawers of things you might need if you were there for an extended stay. The view was so peaceful. My kids (45, 47) got up early to read and watch the hawks flying through. We did make a batch of hummingbird food as the feeder was empty. They came back in force. We were there for a wedding, And it was very convenient to downtown, La Jolla, Poway. All the places we needed to be- and 20 minutes from the beach that we didn't have time to visit. We are native San Diegans so knew what we needed. Mother of the bride (91) was in El Cajon- 20 minute drive. All I can only say is that I wish we would have had more time to enjoy. Great path to walk behind the house if you are so inclined.

Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay at Rancho Peñasquitos! We arrived to fresh lemons, and a hand written note welcoming us to the property. The home was clean, the view was amazing, and having the ability to sit outside with our morning coffee, overlooking that view make our mornings. That, and the coffee flavorings! Such a nice touch. The beds were all comfortable, and the individual air conditioners and fans in each room were a welcome surprise for a warm summer weekend. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this property for your next trip!

ALL Details Covered & No Disappointment!!

We traveled from the East Coast for a soccer tourney with our family of 5 for a 7+ day stay. As a family, we picked this house for the beautiful & spacious outdoor space (for 3 teenagers). Not knowing what to expect, I packed things I thought we'd need. I was wrong. Every detail was taken into account for what a family might need when away from home! The sleeping accommodations were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with any appliance or tool you might need, the beach supplies were wonderful and you could spend days outside enjoying the beautiful views of nature in the backyard. We would come back and stay here in a heartbeat!
