Great find in the gas lamp!

Booked the beau last minute. The hotel is newly opened in a renovated 3 story building from the early 1900s. They kept a lot of the old world charm, but it was also modern and comfortable. They offered free coffee in the morning and the front desk employee also walked my to show me my room. I was on an interior room so it was very quiet even though it is in a busy part of town. Finding street parking nearby overnight was very easy. There is no elevator so you will need to walk up some stairs with your luggage

Rooms are small but very clean and well kept. Bed was a little stiff for my liking, lots of different pillows from firm to soft. Walls are thin. Lots of noise. Overall a nice place and a pleasant stay overall

Didn’t feel safe to walk around in the evening or take the transit, which was close by. Hotel is new and the staff was great. Rooms were clean and hotel is very quaint. There was no elevator so if climbing stairs is an issue, don’t stay here. Our room had no air conditioning but weather didn’t require it this time of year.

What can I say ! This was the best choice of hotel in downtown San Diego . Walking in the middle of the Gaslamp for a great night out. We ate at the Brazilian steak house then bounced around all the cool places on the 4th avenue. The staff went above and beyond in assisting my luggage to the room . The rooms were clean and cozy , everything was top tier and newly renovated . I will come here everytime i stay on downtown San Diego .

Francisco at the Front Desk really elevated the experience with his hospitality. Truly amazing ! The hotel is new and remodeled nicely. It was in the middle of gaslamp which is perfect if you want to stay in that area, but it is quite noisy at night if that bothers you. The room was small, but clean. I will say that it’s a good place to stay if you don’t mind the noise and are just going to sleep for the night, not if you like to relax in the hotel. The beds aren’t the comfiest and there’s no mini fridge to store drinks or anything.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, room was perfectly clean. Just had to request a iron and ironing board to the room and the shower leaks water onto the bathroom floor a bit at the bottom.

I stayed with my wife and our 2 year old. Great location. Brand new rooms. We booked a 2 beds and it was more than great for our needs. Francisco at front desk was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in San Diego. I love their walkable location it makes our trip to be very convenient.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay. The building and it's interiors are historic, high ceiling and wooden interior. Such a pleasant difference to anonymous highrises. Spotless and great welcoming front desk staff. Free Starbucks coffee. Missed a small table to put our water and coffee. Relaxing vibe!
