Beautiful lodge with friendly personal. Rooms were good size and clean. Hot coffee in the lobby with a very large selection of table games for families to play. Saw a black bear 15 minutes after checking in. No threat but nice to watch in the wild.
This place was amazing! At first i was a bit iffy about this; however, it helped us feel more intune with nature which is what we were looking for. Amazing staff! We will be staying here again!
Great location for hikes and all that the national parks have to offer. Especially loved the cabin atmosphere with board games and activities. Rooms were clean, but fairly loud noise from gas pipe made it difficult to sleep.

The room was clean and comfortable, like a nice hotel. We did not eat breakfast. Hiking to General Grant was the highlight.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Room and facilities were nice. There were signs of wear and tear in hallways and stairwell carpets.
Obviously when you stay in National Parks, most of the time your lodging options are limited and your expectations need to be realistic, however I do not feel as though this hotel is worth the $300/night price tag as the rooms were very basic and the shower head was only 5 feet off the ground which meant you had to perform yoga moves to rinse your hair and face (and I am only 5'10). The local food options were also grossly overpriced ($25 for a chicken sandwich with potato chips as the side). Prior to staying here I stayed at the Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park and it was a significantly better venue and experience.
Overall a great stay at the lodge. The li action is unbeatable and we even got snow! The room was clean and comfortable. Although the shower pressure is low but ut got the job done. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Cody and Angie who really went the extra mile!
