The front-desk staff was great. There was VERY LOUD renovation work going on the entire time I was there. But I couldn't get any money back because the stingy new hotel owner wouldn't approve and I hadn't paid $65 to change. The Continental Breakfast was out only one hour, 7:30-8:30, even on New Year's Day! Sheets were soft, hot water available, mosquitoes in room smart.

The hotel and room did not look like the pictures. The room was much more bare and everything was much older than we expected. The staff was helpful and we had no issues while staying. But we were expecting a cleaner and nicer accommodation based on the photos.

Loved every aspect of our stay at the hotel. The manager Amanda is amazing a true hospitality gem and a keeper. From our arrival to our departure she made our stay memorable and had great recommendations. The room was spacious and clean and the ac worked perfectly. Clean and good AC. + fridge. Okay outdoor seating, but could be better. Noisy doors and hallways. Weird bathroom lighting. Shower temp irregular—plenty hot, near burning at times. Toilet tank didn’t fill, so couldn’t flush! Didn’t print a receipt on checkout, so couldn’t confirm accuracy. Pretty expensive for such a basic accommodation. Convenient spot.

Jose was working the front desk when we arrived. He was very friendly and helpful. He took us to our room personally and let us know if we needed anything to call the front desk. The room & bathroom was very clean, modern and updated. The hotel throughout was clean and undergoing a new exterior paint color. We did not have breakfast as we were late so I cannot comment on that. Jose was great both days we were there. He called us a cab so we could go to old San Juan and told us if we needed anything further, he was there to help. This hotel is in a great location to good food and shopping.

Rooms are bare Bones but clean beds are comfortable. Pool was not clean, did not go in and no real sitting areas around the pool. We did not participate in the breakfast and cannot review that. It is in a good neighborhood. Most of the beaches have strong currents in condado, so beware
