This cozy 2-bedroom chalet offers a peaceful escape for up to 4 guests, making it ideal for families seeking nature and tranquility. Nestled in a vast estate of 100 hectares filled with chestnut and turkey oak forests, the home is perfect for scenic walks and complete relaxation.

Constructed from original farm buildings like a barn and two sheepfolds, the stone-and-wood house enjoys full southern exposure with sweeping views. Though immersed in greenery, it’s just a 15-minute walk, or a 5 km drive, from the town square. Major Tuscan destinations like Pistoia (29 km), Lucca (50 km), and Florence (60 km) are within easy reach. The sea (Marina di Vecchiano or Viareggio) is around 1.5 hours away by car, and Florence airport lies 60 km from the property.

Inside, the home features a warm living/dining area with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and two bedrooms with bunk beds or single beds. Outside, enjoy a private fenced pool (5 x 3 m), a terrace, and a garden with furniture. Pets are welcome, and on-site parking is available. Please note, check-in is required before 20:00.

Das Häuschen liegt wunderschön in einem Waldgebiet. Hier kann man prima zur Ruhe kommen. Nachts hört man allerlei Tiere, wie z.B. Hirsche. Die Erreichbarkeit des Eigentümers lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig, um ein Anliegen wurde sich sehr schnell gekümmert. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub braucht. Der Pool ist an warmen eine angenehme Erfrischung.Einzig die Auffahrt ist ein wenig abenteuerlich. Es geht über einen steilen Schotterweg, unser Auto hatte sehr zu kämpfen. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Schönes Häuschen mitten in der Natur

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Haus Ovile. Der Pool ist die beste Erfrischung an heißen Tagen und wird häufig gesäubert und aufgefüllt. Die unzähligen Obstbäume und Wildkräuter in Garten laden zum snacken ein. Im Schatten der Bäume und auf der Terrasse lässt es sich auch bei bei Hitze sehr gut aushaöteb. Die Fhart zum Haus und ust spannend, aber machbar. Die meisten Ausflugsziele müssen dann allerdings auch mit dem Auto angefahren werden - was bei den kurvigen Bergstraßeb und mit sensiblen Mägen nicht den größten Spaß macht. Die Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern war immer topp, freundlich und schnell.

Rustikale Unterkunft im Nirgendwo

Das Haus liegt zusammen mit den beiden anderen Häusern des Eigentümers abgelegen außerhalb des Ortes San Marcello Pistoise. Der Weg dorthin ist steinig und nicht für jedes Fahrzeug geeignet. Das Haus ist rustikal eingerichtet, hat aber alles was man braucht. Der Checkin war einfach, schnell und freundlich. Sicher kann man aus dem Objekt mehr machen, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt aber sehr genossen.
