A little disappointing for the price

For the price, I was a little disappointed. Our room wasn't serviced at all and you had to pay extra if you wanted it to be. For over $300 a night, I would expect at least the bins to be emptied and some fresh body wash. Breakfast was also not included and you had to book and pay the night before and say what time you were going to show up, which when you have a toddler is not always easy to predict. The room itself was pretty good and spacious. The doors to get in were a little awkward and heavy. Our door to the outside balcony was also hard to lock. The location is pretty good with nice views from the restaurant. The facilities (pools, bouncy cushion and playground) are good. Happy hour, $5 wines were great.

Silverwater Resort is one of our favourite places to stay. We love the facilities, and the apartments are very nice and clean. There’s a restaurant on site, indoor and outdoor pools, jumping pillow, playground and kids game room. We love this place and we keep coming back. Would recommend it to anyone.

Better than a Motel Room

Comfortable one bedroom unit in large complex with all amenities. Some units have better views than others. Great restaurant on site (shout out for Sam their most experienced restaurant manager). Short drive to San Remo and Mario’s Italian restaurant.

Experienced food poisoning from the restaurant room service. Chicken wings even had cooked feathers on them. Tried calling the restaurant multiple times with no answer. Took the food back the next morning to be told they may not be able to provide a refund as it’s the next day. Explained the whole situation, the chef was very nice trying to rectify the situation however the restaurant supervisor wasn’t as nice. I was offered a Mina amount on a bar voucher instead of the refund. Can’t really use a bar voucher when nothing can be kept down. Ruined the whole weekend as it was spent being sick in the room. The main problem were the rooms. You have to get thru a door to enter your room and it has two entries so room 100 & 101. You can barely squeeze in thru the door to open the room door and the other room door is also inside this door. And all the banging of doors because there are two doors opening and closing every time you enter or leave. This morning we had a family do this for 1.5 hours. They were in and out with children and there were these two doors that kept banging. It’s not the building door it was like two room next to each other with its own door to get to the two Rooms. The shower was shocking too with the door not being great. Not worth the cost

The environment of the entire resort is great, and the facilities in the community are also very complete, especially the playground for children. The rooms also have complete electrical appliances, tableware and other facilities Just need to pay attention to hygiene, unused towels in the bathroom still have hair on them, and the sound insulation effect is not very good The staff need praise, they are all very enthusiastic and can help solve any difficult problems in a timely manner,

Large 1 BDRM, clean and comfy.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite, very spacious, clean and comfortable, good quality towels and bedding. Large deck with table and chairs. View of the inlet. Kitchen was equipped fairly well (was missing pot holders and something to set hot pots on, no oil or spices). We didn't go to the restaurant or rec area so can't comment on that. Would stay here again.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay at Silverwater Resort. The apartment in which we stayed was well equipped and clean. I requested a ground floor and, at the last minute I also requested a walk in shower, and in both instances these were readily met. The playground and pools were perfect for the grandchildren.
