Since we did not get our noon emails from either VRBO or the host, we called the host at 2:16 PM for entry instructions and permission to check-in earlier at 3:30. She was very friendly and gave us verbal instructions for entry and permission for a 3:30 PM arrival.The facility and our room was beautifully restored.The 2 of us used only the big bedroom with 2 Kings and used only 1 bed. However, house keeping could have been better: there was a towel our bathroom waste basket. That bathroom needs a small stand or table to station toiletries.The clothes dryer was running and the washing machine was full of wet towels and sheets. We finished their respective cycles and folded the towels and bundled the sheets leaving them on the smaller bedroom’s bed.The kitchen chairs need better glides. The current ones make a screeching noise when moved. Terrible noise!The refrigerator freezer needs to be defrosted and needs ice trays. Nothing could be storied in the upper shelves. Bottom shelves OK but still no ice trays.The handle on the refrigerator door is very loose and needs to be fixed.Here’s a suggestion that may save you litigation: When leaving the porch and descending down the side steps, not the back stairway, you reach the concrete pad. On your left there is a small and short curb separating the stairway’s landing from a car’s parking space. If a car’s in that space, there’s no concern. If empty with space open, one could easily trip and fall down injured.
