Sundial C408 Beach Resort Vacation Condo

This bright and airy unit is located on the fourth floor and just steps away to the beach and pool.  It is a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom vacation rental condo and offers beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico from the private screened lanai.  You will enjoy this newly updated condo which features a full kitchen with granite countertops, dining room and living area with a flat panel TV, DVD player and a queen size sleeper sofa. The master suite has privacy from the living area with French doors and has a king sized bed with views of the gulf from the lanai. Sit back on your screened porch and enjoy a morning cup of coffee while watching the dolphins and pelicans!
Please note: This is a privately owned condo and guest won't have to pay a resort fee. While you won't get resort amenity access, you will have access to the following:

Week getaway

The property has a great location but furnishings are tired. Our beach equipment was sub par with a broken umbrella and beach chairs that needed to be replaced, only one was a sand chair. Upon request for replacements we were told they would arrive but never heard back again from property management.

heavenly 5 days in sanibel

This gem of a condo is clean, bright and has everything you need. It's location (just a short walk to the beach) is ideal. The view from the balcony is terrific and you can literally see the blue/green water. It helped that the weather was perfect 80 and sunny with a nice dry breeze! Just what the dr. ordered for two very winter weary Bostonians. Would def stay here again.

Condo C408 at Sundial is fantastic!

Our condo was fantastic! It had everything we needed and more. Great location! Very clean and a great view of the Gulf. We would spend a lot of time in the screened in lanai/balcony as well. We will definitely be back!

Done with this particular VRBO

The property was and always is great. We have stayed at the Sundial for years now either through VRBO or direct booking with the result. So we would rank the Sundial very highly as always. This just happened to be a less than positive VRBO experience. Supplies in the room were lacking, communication about no water available for a time period of 9:00 am through 3:00pm on a day was non existent, the pool being overcrowded due to other factors throughout the resort that we weren't able to participate in, etc. It just wasn't what we have come to expect from a VRBO rental. Plus the cost was way over what we normally would encounter, and the unit listed as a one bedroom was actually an efficiency.

Construction

Saturday and Sunday were fine. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning they were doing construction on a unit below us and beside us. Using Sawz-alls. Literally from 9-5. You had to leave the unit or wear earplugs. I know it’s not the vacation rentals problem, but we should get a partial refund. We love Sanibel, and love the Sundial. I don’t know if we will rent again or not. Two years ago they were using jackhammers to tear up and replace driveways the whole time we stayed.

Long weekend in Sanibel

We had a nice visit to the Sundial C408. We have stayed here before. The property manager was very helpful. We had a defective umbrella and chairs and the manager was so nice to bring replacements for us. We really had a nice time and we will definitely be back again.

Great location to stay on Sanibel Island!

This was a perfect 3 night get away. The space for the two of us was fine. I think it would be too tight for four adults, but I’m become spoiled in my later years. Expect a little exercise as there is a short walk to the beach and pool. We took the stairs down from this fourth floor unit because the elevator was slow and small. Parking was ample. I would stay here again.

Long weekend in Sanibel

We really enjoyed this property, we have been to the sundial many times in the past. We used VRBO last summer and we will continue. I would recommend this property for anyone looking to have a relaxing time on the island. The beach chairs could stand to be replaced and the mattress was a little old, but that is just normal wear and tear on furniture. I would not take away from the overall rating for this.

Perfect Spot

The condo was in a perfect location , with screened in balcony ,from which you could see the beach. Very quiet and clean. Only a few minute car ride to restaurants and shopping.

Great Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this very nice condo. Everything was as described. The bed was super comfy and we loved our view from both the bedroom and the living room. The unit was very well stocked. This was our first trip to the island, but won’t be our last and if this unit is available, we will definitely stay here again.

Checking in was a disaster. went to the resort and they said they didn't have a reservation. We then discovered that I had to call someone to get info on checkin. When I finally got this info i had to go to a Pizza place to check in. No signage. the manager said they have this problem all the time! Then I had to drive back to the resort to find my room with no directions other than room number. VERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE. Facility was fine but check in was a disgrace!!!!

Ahhhhhhh, the Beach, the Ocean Breeze, Sunrise Coffee on the Veranda!

This is one BEAUTIFUL efficiency apartment! From the moment I entered and could see the ocean from the extra wide 4th floor glass sliding doors I knew it would be a stress-free stay in Sanibel. The apartment was accurately portrayed in the ad; complete kitchen, roomy bathroom, washer-dryer, TV in the living area and the bedroom and a HUGE comfortable bed! We walked to the beach, found Bailey's fully stocked Store, and a nice beachfront restaurant serving great pizza. This location was perfect for our goal of closing out the world while we relaxed at the beach. We would definitely stay here again, if it has an opening!
