Excellent hotel and staff. We recommend it!

The room was large with a comfy bed and good shower.The front of house manager Osman and his team offered an excellent seamless service. The choice of breakfast was very good indeed and the location was very central.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Excellent service. Breakfast was good! My only issue was the building itself it’s old, the doors are old, the bathroom is small and the fixtures are old. The sink barely opened. It was dark all around… the floors are from the 1950’s… there was no table in tree room so if you wanted to eat there you couldn’t .

Amazing hotel, rooms are spacious, shower is powerful and warm and the breakfast was delicious. The beds are comfy and the staff are very attentive. I could not mention anything wrong with this hotel and would highly recommend it for travellers.

I’ll start with the positives: The parking attendants, front desk staff and dining room staff are respectful, helpful and friendly. The free breakfast is delicious and they have different options. The rooms are more modern than the hotel decor. A pool would be nice or a lounge area. There are a lot of businesses and movement in the neighborhood but at night nothing. House keeping or someone in their staff went through my belongings the first day I was there and that was very uncomfortable. I know how I leave my things in hotel rooms when I travel. My duffle bag has been opened and searched and I’m pretty sure $100 was taken. I reported it to the front desk. I asked no one enter my room that day and was out the next.

Excellent spot for a weekend getaway.

I was in Guatemala for a few weeks to study Spanish, but I have Salvadoran friends, so I traveled to Santa Ana for a weekend so that I could visit them. Kali Hotel was a great spot. My shuttle arrived late on Friday, so the nearby shops and restaurants were closed, but the kitchen was still open and I was able to order an excellent dinner. My room was spacious and clean and had everything I needed. In Guatemala I was living with a host family, so let me tell you, the bed and the shower in my room at the Kali Hotel were sheer delights. Hot water with solid pressure? A super comfortable mattress on a solid bed frame? Yes, please! The concierge was super responsive and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious. The hotel is walking distance from popular sites and big markets. And, when I had to leave at an ungodly hour (3:30 A.M.) to catch my shuttle back to Guatemala, the security guard stood at the gate and chatted with me until the shuttle arrived so that I wouldn’t be out in the dark alone. 10/10 would recommend and I hope to come back some day.

The Kali hotel is magnificent! Great food,great,friendly, personable and heatfelt service. Osmin at the front desk took special care to make sure our atay was comfortable and enjoyable.

The Kali Hotel is very nice. The rooms are definitely as advertised. Our host Osmin, at the front desk has been very accommodating. The food here very good. Nothng is more wonderful then breakfast on the rooftop while the sun rises and cathedrals bells are ringing.

This property is very close to the burned city market, it's terrible all the sidewalks occupied by street vendors, because the market hasn't been build. It's noisy, doesn't have an elevator as well as hot water. Is an old building. The room didn't have a phone, no luggage rack, no hand towels, just a couple of wash cloth, no toiletries, no tissues. Fair parking, good breakfast, kind personnel.. expedia should adv ertise the lack of hot water and Elevator.

We stayed four nights, the hotel is within comfortable walking distance from the town centre. Antonio and the Reception team always did their best to help, especially in relation to transport as we are travelling alone (not in an organised group) and have no car hire. The hotel is popular with locals for events and we enjoyed seeing people arrive and celebrate!

Not what we hoped for or expected.

From the photos, we were expecting a small, quaint hotel. Although it is a historic building, the was nothing quaint about it. It was as if they took a hospital, and made it a hotel. The bathroom had been updated but there was no towel bars, shelves or any place to put your things. The beds were comfortable which we appreciated. There really is not a restaurant. If you want food, you can order from the front desk and they will deliver to you at two locations in the building.

The facility is too loud and doesn’t offer a peaceful sleep. They have loud parties over the rooms and after parties cleaning is done at midnight and goes through until 2 or 3 am. We woke up extremely tired!
