Fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves lapping the shore. Enjoy a sundowner on your private terrace looking out over the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Relax in this beautiful villa close to the famous cove of Porto Miggiano. The villa sleeps up to 8 people and makes a wonderful holiday home-from-home for family or friends to explore Santa Cesarea Terme and the spectacular Salento peninsula.

The classic villa is set on a hillside and has two levels of terraces, with different seating areas where guests can relax and enjoy the spectacular sea views. Inside the open living and dining areas have unusual vaulted ceilings and the rooms are joined by an attractive stone archway. The living room has two sofas and armchairs. Doors open onto the sea-facing terrace, and another door opens to the shaded back terrace, allowing the sea breeze to cool the house. The dining area has a wooden table and chairs and another set of doors leading out onto the front balcony.

The separate kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. The kitchen has access to the back terrace where guests can enjoy meals al fresco.

The outdoor space has been created with as much care and attention as the interiors. The garden includes various seating areas where guests can relax amongst the perfumed plants, citrus and olive trees.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is on the main floor and has an attractive wrought-iron double bed, a wardrobe, an ensuite bathroom and French windows opening onto the sea-facing terrace.
The other three bedrooms are on the lower floor.
Bedroom 2: An elegant room with a double bed, wardrobe and an en suite bathroom
Bedroom 3: This third bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 4: This bedroom has 2 single beds which can be joined and a wardrobe.

Bathroom
All three bathrooms have a shower, basin, bidet and WC. Two of the bathrooms are en suite and the third independent bathroom is on the lower ground floor.

Location
The villa is ideally located on the western side of the famous coastal spa resort of Santa Cesarea Terme, with its thermal baths and fascinating caves. There are also some lovely beaches nearby including the cove of Porto Miggiano and Archi Marine. The town’s natural thermal baths attract visitors from across Italy and beyond. They are open from May to the end of November.

The weekly market is held every Thursday morning. Here you can find the best local produce to cook at home. Otherwise, there are many excellent restaurants and pizzerias, as well as a dizzying range of ice-creams.

Not to be missed is the city of Lecce (40 minutes drive), known as the “Florence of the South” and blessed with wonderful Baroque architecture as well as Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.

The closest airport is at Brindisi - just over an hour away by car.
