Old lumpy mattress, off kilter chair. Room was clean and staff competent. I like the neighborhood, it’s walkable. I like it but it’s not top of the line. Don’t care for the attached restaurant.

Hidden gem

We’ve stayed here a couple times passing through Santa Fe and it was great both times. Location is excellent, very reasonable rates and overnight parking rates. Very quiet and safe. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Great location and reasonable price considering what other hotels charge in the area. The hotel is little old but it seemed to be renovated to modern standards. Parking is really easy and it costs only $10.

Disappointed

This hotel had an 8 star rating. I was disappointed. The location was great. The price was good but the property /room is very run down and need of major renovations. It is the attention to detail that was lacking. Not enough outlets, no outlet next to the bathroom counter, we had a suite and if you closed the bedroom door the room got hot as no vents. The bathroom was remodeled but not well thought out. You have to stand in the shower spray while adjusting the temperature. It had a soap dispenser in the shower but you needed two hands to squeeze hard enough to get soap to come out. I did get housekeeping to reload and it did solve the problem. The table in the room well used so the finish was off. The housekeeping staff was nice and did a nice job. Front staff was good.

Good location within walking distance to many spots in downtown Santa Fe. The area is quiet and safe. The room is simply furnished but has all the essentials, except laundry facilities. Friendly and helpful staff.
