This appears to be a top hotel in Savannah and we were excited to stay. Unfortunately The Alida leaves a lot to be desired. The room layout and decor is great. The bed was comfortable and the water stations in the hallway are a nice bonus. However, this place needs a little refresh. The window seat cushion was very worn and has some questionable stains. The toilet seat was burnt with a hair curler by a previous guest and there were other small damaged or worn items. The room doors are not soft close and they make a loud slamming sound when guest enter or exit their rooms. This means you have to listen to slamming doors all night making sleep difficult. The valet is lackluster at best. It took 26 minutes for them to get my car even though I was the first vehicle in the queue on the app. Unfortunately we were late for a tour we had booked about 35 minutes away.

This was our first stay at The Alida, but certainly won’t be the last. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to be accommodating, and full of knowledge, and warm personalities. Record player in the room was solid! The room itself was very comfortable and well appointed. The shower pressure could have been better; but if that’s the only minor inconvenience…then so be it. On site dining and cocktails, top tier. Location, on point. We will absolutely be back. Cheers

I love this hotel. The first time we stayed in 2024 set the bar so that has a lot to do with us being a little disappointed with our accommodations and stay this time. Our room was laid out so strangely that it felt cramped. It was the same type room we booked last time, prior to check in I noticed our room had switched to pool view. I called the hotel and they said that was an upgrade. I would rather have a city view as I booked and asked if there was really a difference in the room and they said no. I now understand why they tried to switch us as I’m sure many guests would complain about the room we stayed in due to the lack of space. The city view was also dismal compared to the first time when we had a great city view and partial river view - this time it was a tiny side street where you could see the building next door… I wouldn’t really consider that a city view. We also found it frustrating that one of the main draws of the hotel are the bars and outdoor spaces that go with said bars; however each night one of the two was closed off for a private party. You shouldn’t include this in your hotel appeal without mentioning that it may be closed during the guests stay. It seems really greedy that the hotel takes away for the guest experience to make more money! All in all we may stay here again as the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean.

The room was very nice and spacious. The main problem was the hot water which just didn’t appear very often. Cold, cold and more cold, it would take a very long time to even get to lukewarm. It was nice to have a Kerurig but the coffee was pretty meh. Great location and we always found free street parking not too far away.

The rooms was clean. There wasn't a luggage rack, closet, or refrigerator. The beds were very low to the ground but they were king size which was nice. It's $35/per day resort fee but they give you half of that back daily to use in the resort. Hotel is decorated nice. Hotel is in close proximity to downtown and plant riverside district. They charge $55 a day for valet and there isn't anywhere to park if you bring a car.

Loved this hotel. It felt very clean, the staff was extra nice. The bar off the lobby had great drinks. The only issue I had was the bathroom door in our room got stuck open a few times, but other than that I would stay here again.

We stopped here on our way home from Florida. It happened to be on the night of the lighted boat parade. It is an excellent location. Walking distance to most areas in the Historic District. Absolutely beautiful hotel. We enjoyed the rooftop bar on a chilly night they had the fireplace going and it was warm and comfortable.
